He lets go so the guy can maneuver himself, though his hands remain hovering in case help is still needed after all, dark brows arching up a little as the guy just plops himself down next to the vomit.

"I meant away from the mess," Dancer says as he falls into a crouch himself, corners of his mouth just slightly twitching as he tries not to smile. "On a chair, maybe."

That gets a glance over at the 'mess,' as if he'd already forgotten it was there. Although — eugh. Looking at it maybe isn't the best idea.

"I just need a minute." He's not keen to stand up again so soon, although he does shift a bit away from the puddle. "Least until the room stops shifting."

Yeah, maybe not. He shuffles over a little, still crouched, until he's mostly in between the poor sick guy and his vomit like a human shield against the sight.

"What happened?" Dancer asks, maybe to distract the guy. "Did the food not agree with you?"

"It tastes like nothing I've ever had." Even if thinking about the food makes his stomach want to cramp up again, it isn't so bad. It's better than just sitting and thinking about how nasty he feels. "Even the greens. All wet and chopped up like that. Is it always like this?"

All wet and chopped up...?

"I've only just gotten here myself, but nothing I had seemed that bad." It was all pretty damn crisp, actually. Not a limp, soggy leaf of lettuce to be found. "Did you maybe just get a serving of rotted greens?"

Clearly, this is someone who's rarely struggled for decent fruits and vegetables.

"Rotten?" Nux shakes his head. "No. Shiny and crisp."

The food had been 'wet' only because it was slathered with butter.

"Either way, it's nothing like what I've seen before."
