TEST DRIVE MEME #8

TEST DRIVE MEME

Considering apping to EACHDRAIDH? Why not give the setting a test run here!

OPTIONAL SCENARIOS

01. ARRIVING IN THE DRABWURLD.
The Seelie and Unseelie courts welcome you not with mirthful revelry, this time around dear friends. There is a seriousness in the air, though the food is still hearty and the imps still mischievous. After you have been briefed on your purpose here, you will find an endless feast and a night filled with entertainment to placate your concerns. Mingle with new arrivals, sneak down the castle halls and make sure your eyes are always on your glass; fairies and imps have no bias when it comes to tricks!

02. THE STATION.
Looking for a little slice of home? The Station gives you all that and more. Take advantage of the wifi, have a cup of fairy-brewed coffee (the one they didn't spit in) or sit back and relax on the patio. You can even move your things into one of the available rooms!

03. WILDCARD.
Your own scenario! Explore the Drabwurld or simply take advantage of your Locket! Be mindful, though -- the monarchs are watching and cross court communication should be done with the utmost secrecy.

station!

"It's still crowded."

This coming from a woman who looks like she could fit in with the whole era of the Drabwurld, if it weren't for the pistol by her side. Her saw cleaver is tucked away under her cape for now, though it's easy to see whenever she turns. Her eyes wander to the Corinthian and blink, unsure if he was talking to her, or someone else. She answered, of course, but there's always the possibility of him being absolutely insane and is only talking to himself. That was common back in Yharnam, at least.

The disdain on his face isn't quite so obvious, but it's not too difficult for an observer to pick up on either. The Corinthian has rarely found women worth his time. On the other hand, her gear is certainly worth a second look.

"For some definitions of crowded."

She's seen that look before, honestly- she's grown used to it by now. Being a Paleblood, an outsider to Yharnam, meant that she was regarded as filth, as the source of the problem for the beast plague. It didn't matter if she was a hunter or not. So the Corinthian's gaze is ignored in favor of at least explaining herself.

"The places back home that had groups of people usually were ones that were lost to the plague." There are no humans back home, and therefore she has no idea how to react to people who are normal and not out of their minds. Or worse, turned into beasts. Half of her is still convinced there must be some plague here waiting in the shadows. Why else would they want her here?

"Worried about a little sickness?" That does, briefly, bring a smile to his face, but it isn't a nice one. If anything, it's borderline condescending and brutal, just a small veneer over his truly more monstrous self.

It's not that he can't play nice, but he doesn't see a reason to. Not here and not with a woman.

"Or just paranoid?" It's a jibe — a reference to hysterical.
