TEST DRIVE MEME #8

TEST DRIVE MEME
Considering apping to EACHDRAIDH? Why not give the setting a test run here! OPTIONAL SCENARIOS 01. ARRIVING IN THE DRABWURLD. The Seelie and Unseelie courts welcome you not with mirthful revelry, this time around dear friends. There is a seriousness in the air, though the food is still hearty and the imps still mischievous. After you have been briefed on your purpose here, you will find an endless feast and a night filled with entertainment to placate your concerns. Mingle with new arrivals, sneak down the castle halls and make sure your eyes are always on your glass; fairies and imps have no bias when it comes to tricks! 02. THE STATION. Looking for a little slice of home? The Station gives you all that and more. Take advantage of the wifi, have a cup of fairy-brewed coffee (the one they didn't spit in) or sit back and relax on the patio. You can even move your things into one of the available rooms! 03. WILDCARD. Your own scenario! Explore the Drabwurld or simply take advantage of your Locket! Be mindful, though -- the monarchs are watching and cross court communication should be done with the utmost secrecy. |

[ even now, it's becoming more than just a demand made by some faeries. it's people and getting to know them, seeing a world where they live and breath-- and knowing he might turn his back on all of that doesn't sit as well with cloud as he likes to pretend. home is enough of a mess, why does he have to deal with this as well? conflict flashes openly across his face for a moment, then he's turning his head away from the man who speaks of revolutions. ]
Simple or not, I want no part in it. [ eventually all this will lead to is more innocent blood on his hands. cloud isn't sure he can handle that. ]
... Enough conflict back home.

[He notices that conflicted look, but stays quiet about it. Arno isn't judging, and by the sound of his voice, he's not even giving Cloud anything harsh or hostile. Rather, his tone indicates that he's simply tossing the question out in the open, reiterating so he can make sense of it. He understands, honestly- he was the same when he first arrived under the Unseelie banner. Still, after being here a year and a half, things aren't as easy to not be a part of anymore.]
I've found the natives here are a mixture of opinions. It all really depends on who you ask.

Most people don't want help from strangers. [ it's attitude he's seen plenty before, and cloud's thoughts drift briefly to corel during his first visit in the small, ruined mining town. ] ...Until things get bad enough, that is.
[ are things so bad? there had been a feast held by the court, things seemingly joyous and grand-- no strife in sight. of course, he's seen such things be held before, too, in a way-- knows it doesn't spell anything as far as the state of things go. but he's still curious. ]
