[ She freezes for a moment when he grabs her wrist. There's a sort of "I can't believe this shit" look on her face, before — ]

[ And her other hand lashes out towards his face for a punch. ]

[ He doesn't see the punch coming until the last second, which isn't nearly enough time to do anything about it. Except get decked straight in the face, that is.

With a hiss of pain, Eren's head goes flying back—luckily the chair's there to catch him before he goes falling to the floor, but a hand goes straight to his face before shooting up to his feet, chair sliding back with a noisy screech across the floor. ]

Asshole—what's your deal?!

[ Ah, here we go. ]

Oops. Looks like you were just in the way.

[ Zero gives him a split second fake sweetness before she takes his entire plate and shovels whatever was on it into her mouth. ]

[ Less offended about her hogging all his food and far more miffed over the fist swung at his face, Eren's fingers grip into the edge of the table, leaning in, teeth grit. That sweet tone of hers only serves to raise his hackles even more. ]

[ Zero answers, immediately and then also leans across the table — though she's doing it to try and headbutt him. Hard. ]
