It does listen, [ she says with complete conviction, her eyes flicking to the ring on her finger. ] They must just be doing something to stop it from coming.

[This bold declaration draws Levi's attention, and he promptly asserts himself into her personal space, striding forward. Trying to get a better glance at her beloved hunk of junk. It's pretty, but he's seen similar on the fingers of nobles... which he remembers as being particularly easy targets for theft.

[ She tilted her chin condescendingly, unruffled by the intrusion into personal space after her stint at Arzenal. ]

[ She dismisses his disbelief with a wave, completely serious. Villkiss had jumped between Earths and brought her friends to a bubble outside the space-time continuum for her; there wasn't any reason that it shouldn't be able to come now -- unless something here was blocking it.

It was all perfectly logical, once you accepted that there was a world-hopping giant robot. ]
