[Cesare raises an eyebrow and shrugs before taking a swig of his drink.]

[Is Cesare being archaic? Maybe, maybe not. Draconian? Most certainly. He is not the type to forgive easily and he believes in strong punishment. How else can you deter the others from misbehaving? He smirks.]

[ Connor follows the line of his smirk, the way it cuts like a knife over his lips and for a moment his gaze might linger a little too long. Cesare makes a good distraction, looks good in the soft light. He drinks when the other does to fill the silence before he speaks again, making him tilt his head just a bit. ]
