I adore having Vanessa here in game, and I have really appreciated the relationship between her and Waver. That they don't see eye to eye, but work together so well is an absolute thrill to explore, as well as Vanessa's level of trust in Waver all things considered. I'm always so glad to see tags from you pop up in my inbox.
I do like the complicated CR they have, and where it will be going in the future. Waver was one of my first welcomes to the game, and I'm so greatful for it!
When I first found out that there was a Vanessa in game, I was excited but a little cautious. The character looked difficult to pull off and I wondered if it were possible in rp and if anyone would actually be able to play her well. I swiftly realised that my initial wariness was entirely ill-founded. Your Vanessa is glorious, engaging and I could work on the same long thread with you for years and would never grow bored. Furthermore, the fact that you embrace Vanessa and all her quirks is super exciting for me to watch. You haven't cherry-picked solely the good parts to her, nor the negative ones. From my point of view, it looks like you've embraced her in her entirety and that's incredibly fun to watch as it all unfolds.
You don't know how much this comment means to me, really. I'm always a bit nervous with her, because I really want to do her justice, and she is a really BIG and nuanced character. Especially now that I have season 2 to work with, I'm having to work even more in (which I really enjoy! But that doesn't mean it isn't a challenge!). I really want to cover all facets of her, and to hear that you think I've been doing a good job on that means the world.
You know I always love RPing with you, but you also know I am canon familiar for both your characters and I need you to know that you play them beautifully. I know you were worried about Vanessa initially, justifiably so in my opinion -- she is such a complex character in so many ways and her canon is still new -- but you pull her off perfectly and I have been so excited to see her taken on Drabwurld with such strength! Equally, I know things got a bit rocky for Loras when he lost canonmates, but I am super excited to see him handle Coth and I hope you get to raise him up full force too! And that I get to tag with him lots more, just because.
Thanks so much for the kind words. I've really appreciated having you around, cheering me on. You are the best and I really appreciate all you've done for me <3
I love seeing Loras around and look forward to him doing Cothromach things, yes. Looking forward to more cr because clearly he and Snow are off to the best start.
I haven't gotten to thread with you half as much as I could have, but the threads I have had have been great. I have enjoyed how Faolan and Loras both understand each other on some levels and also really don't on others. I would love to continue the CR between them and/or find a means to connect Vanessa with either Faolan or Remus (as you said before, she is in need of a werewolf friend, and Remus is in need of friends in general HAHA).
Vanessa is always absolutely great and I love bouncing off of her. I love that she didn't get it off with Thor and favors Loki unapologetically (MY BIAS) and I really love how active she is as a spire baroness! I'm always tickled to get your tags. ♥
Vanessa was one of my favourite characters when I saw Penny Dreadful, and I was beyond excited to see one in Eachdraidh. You play her so wonderfully and capture every aspect of her character, and I really enjoy her and Clarke's CR! ♥
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the kind words. I still get nervous with her, but I'm glad that you and others think I'm representing her well!!
