Man, I love American McGee's Alice but I don't think I could ever play her because I can only imagine her as exhausting to play. She's a very outwardly cool character a lot of the time but there's so much going on underneath -- and I do think you pull that off well! Equally, I know characters like Alice can be difficult to get out and about because of how much they really don't care about people's gossip and nonsense but I am glad that we got them to interact because I always find watching characters carefully negotiate each other's difficulties fascinating! Even if they don't always pull it off well, if they stumble and struggle and misunderstand, that side of RP is always challenging and interesting and you bring a lot to it!
She is exhausting to play, but exceptionally fun for me. Some of her personal struggles are things I can relate to, so that inner turmoil she has is what I really like to play with. But I'm glad that I execute that clearly because I know sometimes my writing can be fuzzy, especially when my attention wans ;o;
BUT I'm glad to hear this, each time, seriously. When the first game came out, I couldn't afford it. AMR got me into it, but you bet I made a point to play the first and immerse myself in anything Alice-related. So yes, hearing that from someone who knew the original, old school PC game means a lot ;o;
