I'm not canon familiar with Cole, but I genuinely love seeing everything that you do with him. The initiative you took straight out of the gate with having Cole leave people gifts and things to cheer them up was honestly really wonderful; Each can have its moments of being really sad/depressing, but having people (and characters!) who create little pockets of hope is amazing, and I think you've totally brought that with Cole.
