Tagging Habits: Most days I try to clear my inbox at least once a day and given the right time of day/availability, I can boomerang. That said I work in the service industry and work long hours so there's usually a day or two during the week where I do pretty much zero tags so I can be pretty reliant on backtagging. Generally speaking, I prefer present tense but am flexible about prose or brackets!
RP preferences: Fly by the seat of my pants is my life mantra. Any planning I do tends to be 'Hey want to do this thing? Sure okay I'll throw up a log.' That said, I'm more than happy to do more in-depth plotting, but my limited availability can sometimes make that difficult (I often am in that situation where I have time to either do extensive plotting or just play it out and not really both).
A little bit about you: I plurk mostly about RP - iconning, plotting, tag commentary and tracking etc - but I also talk quite a bit about my RL and generally try to use my plurk to keep people updated about what my work schedule's doing that way people don't think I'm flaking on threads etc if I'm in the place where I have to temporarily put RP on the backburner for a day or two. I play a lot of video games and watch a ton of movies. I also draw a bit and really like iconning!

Current location: Clunking around the western road just past The Barrel toward Redgate, doing his best to stay out of Seelie territory in the process.
Open Posts: It's a little dated, but there's an open log here that's a catch-all for august! Late tag-ins welcome!
Current or future plans: A relatively new arrival to the Drabworld, Max is pretty disconnected from the conflict (by choice), but oocly I'm looking to find ways to invest him a little more personally. Really all that amounts to for me right now is chasing new/developing burgeoning cr and seeing where that leads him.
Catch-up: Max arrived during the most recent feast and pretty much immediately packed up and ollied out of Caer Scima. He ignored the rally call and has instead been (really unsuccessfully) evading Unseelie and Seelie shardbearers and locals while on the western road. He's traveling in the company of Furiosa, a one-armed shardbearer from his own world. His goals are basic at best: keep moving, avoid getting killed.
Desired CR: While 'Everything!' absolutely applies (Unseelie, Seelie; positive, negative - whatever!), I'd specifically love interactions that challenge Max's self-imposed rut. His default is to avoid emotional and physical engagement and utilizing CR to pry him out of that practice is definitely something I'd like to pursue, be it at the hands of negative or positive CR, be it action-based or conversational. Max isn't the type to ask for quests or go looking for trouble, but if your character is desperate for assistance or gunning to stir up some shit I'd love to be involved in some way and am happy to jump through some logistical hoops (how did he get to x place? why??) to make that happen. Because Max is so wanderlusty, it's pretty easy for me to shift him around the map if I need to.

But again, I'm a brand new player with a brand new character so I absolutely mean it when I say I'm game for any and all CR! Max's only real limitation is he doesn't use the network at all. Oops.... /sweats.
Shipping: Dear lord please don't ship with this weird man. He's a train wreck.
Things to avoid: Nothing really! I'm pretty open for whatever. On the flipside, if you're squeamish about depictions of violence please please let me know before we thread! Max has a very active imagination so even if the situation isn't inherently violent, he might think it and I'd rather avoid making anyone uncomfortable as that's definitely not my intent. I'm happy to tone it down if the person I'm threading with isn't okay with it.
Other:

Gil is actually looking to pick up the disenfranchised and otherwise alienated for his cadre! He recently became Shardless so Max wouldn't be punished at all by interacting with him. ...not that he cares, but it's a bonus for you OOCly.

I really loved Max Max, though, and would love to throw these two together to see what happens. He'll be in general vicinity of The Barrel at the beginning of September, so that might work.

Oh, and as an ADDITIONAL bonus, I'm sure Furiosa would get a real hoot out of Gil. He's a womanizer and a huge flirt and is 99% certain to cause embarrassment around her.

But ah yes that sounds wonderful! Who can say what they'll end up doing re: Gil trying to form a group but that sounds like potentially radical cr so we should definitely make it happen.

I'm kind of thinking I may end up putting just another catch all open log up next month. Is that something you'd like me to pm/ping you for when I've got it up or would you rather just do a closed log? I'm pretty damn flexible, so whatever you think is easiest!

Something important I somehow forgot to mention: Gil is actually so charismatic it's a running fandom gag (his stat rating is literally A+). He's really good at motivating people and especially pushing them out of ruts by sheer force of personality, so I think I can give you what you're looking for there.

And catch-all sounds good, I'll hop right into whatever! I would suggest possibly having a prompt near Treun because Gil will be sticking in Leathann's general vicinity, but I can probably work something out either way. Feel free to ping me if I don't hit up the log or get in touch with you within a few days.

Wander-lust, you say? Sounds right up Chloe's alley! She spends a lot of time flying all over in her airship. Maybe that's something that would catch his fancy. :)

While I don't think jumping on a boat is something that'd interest him at the moment (too confined...??? this character is weird), I will absolutely keep it in mind! But regardless of max's ic interest in boarding a ship, I'd definitely be jazzed to thread with you.

Lightning is definitely big about challenging people out if immobility and unwillingness to act on certain things. She is adamantly against the courts, so we might be able to work something out!

I do think they're going to end up taking her advice and puttering over to Redgate eventually. Is Lightning going to be there for long or not so much?

I don't know how long she's going to be in Redgate so I can stretch it out for whatever means I need!
