Queen Medusa

Character Info:
Character Name: Medusalith Amaquelin-Boltagon, aka Queen Medusa, Ruler of the Inhumans and New Attilan
Series: Marvel Comics
Personality: Queen of a civilization that's existed for millenia before human civilization developed, Medusa's a haughty if well-meaning person. She can be somewhat stand-offish, but she cares deeply about her people and her allies and she has every intention of helping the people who've been brought here to fight in this war one way or another...as much for the political gain as out of principle. Dignified and aloof, but incredibly testy and prone to lashing out if her patience is tried too hard.
Court: Seelie
Current location: Highly mobile! Usually she's been on the road between Caer Glaem and Leathann.
Open Posts: None for this month.
Current or future plans: She'll be on the front lines in battle, though she's not exactly thrilled to be in conflict or sure that she believes in what's going on. Post Void-plot, I'm looking to get her involved in capitalizing on new power vacuums and opportunities to maybe set herself up as a leader in rebuilding or restabilizing the situation. Maybe acting as a diplomat? I am flexible as to what might be coming next.
Desired CR: Partners in political plotting? Medusa is determined to gain influence and stay on the right side of the people who can grant her the power to start making bigger calls on her own again. Also, she's a protective person, and as the Inhumans are a maligned species that mostly look, well, inhuman, she'll gladly extend her protection and her influence to outcasts or people with weird powers or younger individuals to try and help guide or train or just keep them out of danger. Also, people who are opposed to her doing that or would want to be political rivals, that would be cool too. This applies to both sides— she'd be willing to at least speak with or entertain the possibility of working with the Unseelie, if it was mutually beneficial.
Shipping: She's technically still married, but I am open to considering the possibility of it, as she'll be divorcing her husband in canon eventually.
Things to avoid: Medusa's been brain-washed and mind-controlled a lot in canon. I'm not opposed to carrying out plots like that, but they would have to be
Other: BTW her hair moves. Like a lot. All the time. According to her will.

Luke is the son of the Greek god, Hermes, so her name would really make him curious to see if she has snakes for hair. he's a Marquis and a Knight of the Golden Cadre who I'm trying to push into having more of an active interest in politics. maybe he can help her out with the political side of things? Luke prefers to prank and rile people up, as well as steal, so maybe she might be beneficial for him believing in himself and he might be able to assist her in any political standings?

wow damn thank you stacking notifs on my phone so that I accidentally deleted this

I THINK THIS SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT IDEA. Medusa's more patient with younger people (though not endlessly patient), particularly for eccentricities (since she babysat a tiny think-tank that comprised a few potential supervillains for a bit.) She might also be good at pointing him in the direction of things that don't work politically speaking, since she's been doing this for...at least 20 years? Maybe? Waves hands ambiguously about Marvel's timeline.

So, yes.
