Character Name: Elizabeth of York
Series: The White Queen
Personality: Sweet, charming, fiercely loyal to her friends—but also a cunning mind. Bess is becoming a politician in her own right, and is learning the right things to say and when, and how much or little to reveal, and how it will most benefit her. Unlike almost a year ago when I apped her in initially, she now has all kinds of agency to do things for herself as well as others, and also has stepped up to defend those she loves at all costs.

Also, she is a huge nerd. She still fangirls over poetry and books, and I don't anticipate that will ever change.

General overview of recent events: All right, SO: I had a massive case of burnout in late September and all of October, so I handwave that she missed the initial battles for the gem in favour of looking after her people--because Plague still hits very close to home even if the last one ended a century before she was born. She would have gone into the gem itself, though, and wished for an alternate fate, neither Seelie nor Unseelie (nor Neutral, actually!) and here she is. She lost some significant CR following this, and has touched home briefly enough to have a taste of her life in the future both during The White Princess and an alternate reality in which she took control of ruling England for herself.

Now, she's not really okay. But she's going to throw herself into her work, building up her town and reaching out to the people of Briste so that she can change the future for them, if not for herself.

Carryover: First off, I don't think her title's changed--but she had no official position at court, otherwise. However her town (Brienne) and all the buildings the efforts she and others made to construct and furnish are here, along with her belongings, dog, ceffyl dwr and puca. Phew! The people of Briste, however, aren't carried over; there'll be some new NPCs whose trust she'll be all too happy to win. Bess will still consider herself part of the Red Hand, and seek out to aid them when needed.

Plans: Oh man, tons! Her long-term goal is to turn Brienne into a cultural hub/trading port. This is a very, very longterm goal, and she will be dedicating herself wholesale to this in the months to come. Alliances with nearby cities and towns will also be sought out by her, after she observes and takes measure of the political landscape for herself. On that vein, she will want to also continue her research, to gain a feel of the culture of the land now since it's like as not drastically different, and compile that information in books, and distributes copies thereof to her allies, to hold in their own libraries.

As for short-term, I think there will be a moment in the next month or two where she will finally process the grief she's been bottling up and maybe idk vent it in some compilation of poetry or something. Nothing melodramatic, unless it develops that way, but she will be so much more chill once she can truly explode in some sort of fashion and stop Not Dealing with her more unpleasant feelings.

Desired CR: I don't think she will want to be romantically involved with anyone for a while. At least until she can process that her boyfriend is gone, and move past that. If something happens in the meantime, that's great! But I'm mainly looking for:

→ Friends!
→ Mentors to teach her magic and combat and actually anything! She loves learning.
→ Allies and enemies for political shenanigans
→ Comrades to spar or flirt harmlessly with
→ Family figures

Things to avoid: I think I'm good, actually! Her having experienced some of TWP means there may be some mentions of rape, though if that is a squick on your end. So let me know if it is.

Yes! She won't be locking herself up to mope, and will be throwing herself into her work instead, if you think we can swing something that way. With her court being what it is, her 'work' could take her anywhere.

Personality: The words "mama bear" basically sum her up well.

General overview of recent events: Again, as above, I'll be handwaving that she was part of the battle for the gem and then wished for a world to be reborn with a catch--that the cycle would not be neverending. All in all, this is not what she's expected. But as a new opportunity that's presented itself, she'll exploit it to its fullest.

Carryover: Her tower, settlement and the NPCs which populated it, many of whom she has begun to formally train in the Viking ways of battle. And her necklace which allows her to teleport places she has been before.

Plans: I feel she's going to be extremely cautious, and want to know more about what's going on before doing anything big. Once she does, I think she'll pursue power, though not necessarily through strength of arms. We'll see how things play out! I don't see her being the typical warlord, though, as she definitely is anything but in her canon. Before all this, she was waist-deep in the Red Hand's plot to change the world, and she'll still want to be in on that regardless oh where she's ended up.

Desired CR: Diarmuid is about to be goaded into some husband worthiness trials, so anything but ships basically! Students she can teach, friends she can make, especially other women--family she can adopt into her circle, people she can outright loathe and plot the demise of, you name it, and I want it! I really aim to get her out there and interacting with a wide variety of characters. And I want to get her feet wet politically in this world, finally. Any help/resistance to that effort would be totally welcome.

Things to avoid: Nah, her canon covers all manner of triggering content. So once again, the reverse warning applies that mentions of rape, miscarriage, death and abuse may occur in threading with her.
