This might be tricky, but depending on how ~treasonous~ it all is, it might be manageable if they hang out in more neutral ground? Why does Reul still have to be a thing, Dany asks. And why is she in Ridire's court this time??? All these ex-Seelies up in her business.

I'm still down for dragon buddy CR, and because I'm making an executive decision to have had her return to Meereen in time to learn Drogon ate a child, she'll be looking into means to prevent that here. One of the possibilities she's very reluctantly considering is magic, so she may have some questions about his experience with it here. The mental image I have is of someone dipping their toe in the water with a deeply skeptical face.

i think the court stuff is less hardcore this time around -- and, either way, you're dealing with zuko, who is not getting any more smarter. he'll defy the rules to go dragon walking with dany.

unfortunately, zuko's not up with the magic since he finds it strange as hell and he was focusing on his normalbending when his firebending sort of puffed out due to mount verla. i know he is pretty knowledgeable about dragons -- from his home world and i imagine he would have some info on them here since it seems to be a thing that people ask him for dragon info -- so he might be able to help in that regard? it really depends on what you want to do with your dragons! since he's got iroh's wisdom, his experience with ran and shaw, and then druk being a source of confusion, he could probably help out there.

as for magic, though, katherine might be of use! she used to be a witch, apparently, and she's trying to reconnect with that side of her here by using drabwurld magic -- so, she could always assist there? she knows a lot about witches, knows some people here who have drabwurld magic, and can, you know, compel info from natives, so she might be way more useful than zuko who thinks magicians aren't funny. i seriously forgot to say this in my katherine comment, but here is another friendship necklace we can split in half, please accept it.
