TEST DRIVE MEME
Considering apping to EACHDRAIDH? Why not give the setting a test run here! OPTIONAL SCENARIOS 01. ARRIVING IN THE DRABWURLD. The grand feast is held in the Eaglais clearing. The food is good, the music is sweet, and the evening is lit by gentle fairy lights. All Shardbearers of all courts are summoned here under a universal truce for the evening. Nature itself has shaped itself into tables, chairs, and long couches so that the new guests can rest. When they’re ready to call it a night, Shardbearers are brought to their court strongholds in a one-way trip by fairies and imps. 02. NETWORK Take advantage of your Locket! The network can be accessed by any Shardbearer with a locket or shardless characters with enchanted devices, and is a quick way to meet new people and discuss the state of the world. 03. WILDCARD. Your own scenario! Explore the Drabwurld! There are lots of places to go, and plenty of trouble to get into in them! |

[the shores of Loch Caoidh are beautiful indeed, but beauty isn't the sole reason she's come here. it's the stories that pulled her here, of fantastic beings the likes of which she's only ever seen in pictures. who could resist when it was a simple matter of patience to see them? call her foolish, but to feel like a child again, giddy with the idea that unicorns are real - with nothing demanding her presence, Lovelace is too happy to have the freedom to go out and wait to see if she'll be lucky enough to catch sight of them.
and when she does, she's slow to get up, eyes wide in wonder as she starts to creep closer towards the creatures. she's certainly not that stealthy, but well, she's trying. even if the unicorns have already noticed how she's approaching them, and seem almost to be giving off a feeling of really? that's how you plan on doing it?
the horns are pretty sharp, after all.]

[when the locket begins recording, the voice on the other end is calm, sweet, a voice with careful pauses meant to stay measured. the sort of voice that belonged to someone who might be very difficult to push into anger, if it came down to it.]
If this device allows us to reach across this world in a moment, then by all means I can accept magic as a new part of my life. I'm not going to ask the same questions I heard buzzing around when we arrived - no, what I want to say is something much simpler. If someone is out there who remembers me, who hears my voice and recognizes it, then let me hear you. Let us navigate this new world together than as sole ambassadors.
And to the others in this world who hear this, who do not know me, then I thank you sincerely for this little bit of time - and I hope that though we may not come from the same world, my sentiment is the same. Being displaced is only a horrible thing when you need to struggle through alone, and I don't think you have to. Our courts may not be the same, but does that bar us from making new allies? I hope it does not. Let me hear you, if you agree.
