[ when rose spots mikleo she's incredibly relieved. to her that meant that sorey must be close by and that although they were not where she last remembered them being-- they weren't in any immediate danger. approaching him slowly from behind she puts her hands over mikleo's eyes while a huge grin spreads across her face. poor sad meebo. ]

Hey nerd! Guess who it is!

[ three strikes and you're out! except, not really. if her words sound kind of muffled it's because she's talking with food in her mouth. you see, before running to meet mikleo she couldn't resist the food that she saw along her way. she figured if it was poison then there'd be dead bodies all around the place right? so chow down she did!

hey, at least rose is here to give mikleo some moral support? ]

[ ROSE, PLEASE...

Mikleo lets out what can only be described as a yelp when Rose puts her hands over his eyes. He was so completely absorbed in his nerdy hypothesis that he didn't even notice her approach—then again, she is an assassin, stealth is kind of in her job description. ]

Rose! That's not funny! [ Spoken like the most "mature" of all teenagers. Mikleo shrugs off her hands and turns to face her with the sternest expression he can muster, which is to say, not all that stern. ] You could've just said "hello" like a normal person.

[ He says this huffily, but after a few moments adds: ] I'm glad to see you're all right, at least.

[ when she hears him yelp she can't help but burst out laughing and nearly choke on the food in her mouth. after a second or two she releases a deep exhale-- that was a close one! ]

Phew, almost saw the light for a second.

[ after a moment rose then puts her hands on her hips and tilts her head to the side while keeping her gaze on mikleo. she was gonna get serious because as far as she could tell sorey was nowhere to be found now. if he was, he'd be connected at the hip to mikleo. the other seraphim were missing as well, what a predicament. ]

Nice to see you too, but where's Sorey? Is it normal for you to be alone and away from the Shepherd like this? Not that I'm an expert on this stuff or anything...

[ Mikleo gives her a Look after she laughs at him, but the Look soon dissipates when she asks about Sorey. He frowns, looking around the area briefly as if Sorey might just pop up all of a sudden.

He hadn't wanted to think about it at first, but there was no getting around it now: as a Sub Lord, he should be able to sense the presence of the Shepherd, the Prime Lord and other Sub Lords. But he couldn't at all. ]

... I'm not sure where Sorey is. [ Before his little geek out over furniture moment, he'd totally been looking all over for him. What if Sorey did something really dumb, after all? That's why he needed all of them there. ] Or the others. Usually it shouldn't be able to work like that. So, I can't tell if they're here or not... [ He looks a little annoyed. ] This place is weird.

[ rose isn't too worried about sorey and the other seraphim, she's fully aware that he can take care of himself. plus the seraphim that are left with him are ones that can kick serious butt. ]

I can tell, you're all worried about him, but he can take care of himself. Lailah will make sure he stays safe. So, uh... for now...

[ she stares at the furniture, she's not the type to geek out over furniture. that's the job that belongs to the nerds. ]

I know what that big dork would want is for us to have fun.

[ sorey would be like, it's okay guys! i'll be fine! don't worry about me! and is probably drooling over some ruins or ancient cutlery. so rose grabs one of mikleo's hands and drags him over to the food and the area where the soft music is a little bit louder. they are gonna PARTY! kind of. ]

You gotta relax once in a while, Mikleo!

H-Hey! Rose! [ Mikleo is kind of a twig, so it's easy enough to drag him, and despite his protests, he lets Rose pull him over to where the food is. He reacts as a true Meebo would: overreacting to everything and making himself even more open to teasing because of it. ] It's not like I'm that worried about him.

[ Complete lies, well and truly. However, as he gets a proper look at the food from up close, he has to admit it looks appetising. His stomach rumbles. While it's true that seraphim don't exactly get hungry, he'd grown up with Sorey and eaten three meals a day with him. He'd kind of taught himself to get hungry. ]

... I guess it couldn't hurt to take a short break to eat something. [ And the food does look... really good... ] How come the music is so much louder over here? [ Elysia was full of older seraphim, they didn't have parties like this!? And the Celestial Record doesn't describe parties either!? ]

[ at least rose wasn't bored or else she probably would have been dragging him by his little cape. like that one time she did the same thing to sorey, pulling on the back of the shepherd's garb. when they stop in front of the food she takes a long hard look at all the delicious choices. seraphim don't need to eat, so it'll be fine if she gets him to eat everything right? picking up and plating every kind of food she makes sure to pile it high with all different sorts of things. combining main courses with desserts and ensuring that mikleo gets a little bit of everything. once she's done she shoves the plate in his direction. even if the food isn't poisonous she might still kill him by accident... ]

I dunno why the music is louder here. Maybe because this is their party area! So party hard, Mikleo!

[ SHE IS SMILING VERY PROUDLY. ]

[ Mikleo glances from the plate of food, to Rose, to the food, to Rose.

But success!? (Dubious success?) It makes Mikleo laugh as he takes the plate, holding it as if it might be a bomb that's about to explode. It's a struggle avoiding anything falling off the plate, but he manages, just barely. ]

Is your idea of a party trying to get a seraph to gain a few pounds? I'm not sure if I can eat all that. And I think the main course and the dessert have combined. [ Mikleo is the world's biggest sweet tooth in secret, so this actually doesn't bother him, but it certainly looks. Interesting. ]
