We have all had time and experience enough to learn, and he has not. And now our Doom comes into play - I do thank you for trying.

Perhaps. And yet he makes the same choices here he did at home, and I cannot see a better ending.

Not exactly like. But the threads of madness are still the same. The events may have changed, our surrounding likewise, but he... has not.
