a. the feast

[the fairies aren't the only ones making trouble. apparently unconcerned with all the new information she's been given, this new arrival is making the rounds at the unseelie feast, eyeing people's plates for anything that looks even remotely like a dessert.]

Oooh, that looks great. Can I have it? [not waiting for an answer, she grins as she snags it off the plate.]

b. the station

[anemone's looking for one thing, and one thing only. hearing about the technologies available in the station, she goes out in search of her klf, sweeping through the area with increasing fervor.

but after a few hours of combing up and down the place, she accepts the fact that theend just isn't here. so she sits outside on the patio, sulking and making faces at everyone who walks by.]

[ It was strange to think a month ago it had been Ao's first feast in the Unseelie castle. He'd met plenty of people and seen a few places since then, but he usually stayed closer to the castle right now. Which helped in meeting new people when the feast came up again.

Besides, the food was good, too.

He was just about to go to his dessert when suddenly it was gone. Frowning at it in confusion, he glanced up to the girl that was attached to the hand that had appeared seconds before. ]

Hey! You can't just do that-- there's plenty more around.

Then you can just go get more, can't you? And while you're there, get me-- [She halts in the middle of her taunt, insults and dessert forgotten the moment she gets a good look at Ao. Anemone stares at him for a long couple of seconds, eyes wide with surprise.]

What the hell... [In a second Anemone's uncomfortably close, gaze moving from his face to his hair to his eyes. The resemblance is uncanny, but it can't possibly be her.]

[ He was ready to respond. He was. It wasn't such a big deal and, really, he was used to girls doing whatever they wanted. Or getting mad at him for seemingly no reason (sometimes there was). Elena had him prepped for girls popping up in his face but...

Well, even to him Anemone is a little strange. It's in her eyes. But he can let that pass easily enough for his own appearance and the others here. Unfortunately, he hardly knew his own parents let alone anyone from the world they came from.

Dessert forgotten, he makes a face and instead asks promptly-- ]

--Can I help you?

[She examines him for a little while longer (just to be sure) before stepping away, giving him his personal space back. She smiles at him again, tone light and casual.]

I don't know, can you? What's your name?

[ He looks too much like her, doesn't he? Almost the spitting image. Not that he understands why she's look at him like that and ends up just looking more confused. ]

I don't know unless you tell me what you want.

[ A brief pause. ]

I'm Ao. Who are you?

[Much too much like her. His voice is different enough, though, and he's a boy. That alone is weird enough to merit more investigating.]

I'm the girl who took your dessert, remember? And since you don't have one anymore, we should get you another one! Come on.

You could just give it back and get your own.

[ He says it in the most perplexed manner. Why even stay there and try to encourage him to get more when you can do that? Somehow, even, he's even more expressive then she was in her earlier time. Definitely not the same. But similar? ]

Aren't there more desserts you want to take out there?

[Oh, yeah, that dessert. She takes a second to devour the whole thing. Problem solved.]

Not anymore! And I'm still hungry and you're still dessert-less. So wouldn't it be worth your time to escort the new girl to the treat table?

[Hey may look like Eureka, but he doesn't act like it. And Anemone has yet to meet a boy she can't push around to some degree.]
