[Rika has her own objectives in the kitchen: namely, hunting the spiciest food she can find. She didn't expect it to be quite this difficult, but she's not familiar with the way things are prepared so she's been making herself at home tasting everything.

Almost everything. Definitely not the raw meat. She pauses in her hunt to stare over at the man, sympathetic impulses warring with logic. He's a full-grown adult, he knows better than to actually try to eat it, doesn't he?

The evidence before her eyes suggests no. Sympathy finally wins and she trots over to him, reaching to tug at the rolled cuff of his sleeve and frowning up at him solemnly.]

Mi-. You'll get a tummy ache if you eat that.

I will? [ brows go up. you would think he would have learned this by now, but there are some raw meats he does not hesitate to eat. of course... ]

Do you know what kind it is? [ he holds the meat out -- it certainly doesn't look all that appetizing. ]
