Will Scarlet [Knave of Hearts] ❤ OUAT in Wonderland
He frowned at the idea of thinking of the Enchanted Forest as home.
Shaking his head he tried to get some real answers from those around him. He was handed drinks, and food, and offers to get to know them better, but nothing close to the answers he wanted. Whatever this place really was, the people knew better than to wag their tongues, even under the influence of a good party.
Will downed a glass of champagne in one go. He was tired of being pulled around for the amusement of others. He tried very hard not to get involved, not to get attached, and look what happens, kidnapped by imps and stuffed with food. Right. Not the greatest complaint, but it would have been nice if they'd asked!
He grabbed another drink off a passing tray and walked around table groaning with food, and despite not being all that hungry, pinched a tiny cake. As he brought it up to his lips, his eyes noticed a glint of gold around his wrists.]
Bloody hell.
[Had he really become so used to these cuffs so soon?
He shoved the bite-sized cake into his mouth and turned to look at the partying crowd, wondering if any of these people knew of a way to break a genie's curse.]
Fenris | DA2
He thrust the empty glass back into Will's hand.
You got a bit of icing. On your face. [ Made a vague motion in the general area of the offending sweet. ]
Re: Fenris | DA2
"Thanks, mate." Despite the thanks he's still frowning over the loss of his drink as he took the empty glass back. It wasn't like there was a lack of alcohol around. "Might want to easy up on that."
Re: Fenris | DA2
He took no heed, downing one glass as quick as he had the one he'd stolen from Will. "Likely we're just... in the Fade. And when our bodies wake, this will just be a dream." He squinted mistrustfully at Will, then, mouth twisting.
"Maybe you're the demon responsible?"

Still, better not to test that theory just yet. He slowly sipped the drink as he thought about those nice, cold beers he'd enjoyed only days ago.
"I've got no idea what the Fade is, but I'm pretty sure we're all awake here." He frowned at the man. "No need to go blaming innocent people for this mess."

"I... can't tell if it's drunk or dream. And I can't find Hawke, who'd know what..." What to do. He swallowed thickly, looking into the fluted glass for a moment before staring hard back up at Will. "Where are you from? The Free Marches? Ferelden? You have... something like that accent."

The anxiety of the elf was getting to him. Will was generally a suspicious man by nature, but he didn't go around acting as though someone might jump out at him at any given moment. "Look, maybe if you cut back you might figure out if you were dreaming." His words might have been a stronger argument if he didn't finish off his own glass as he said them.
"Nah, never heard of those lands. I'm from...bit of all over." He wasn't ready to call the Enchanted Forest home out loud just yet.

"It's... when you go to the Fade, it... often involves a sort of spelled sleep. If it's cleverly done, you never even know. You might spend years in the company of demons, wearing the faces of those familiar to you simply so they can leech your warmth." He hesitated there, watching the gala from the corners of his eyes. Mistrustful. But he scanned the crowd too quickly, and it wasn't difficult to tell that he was looking, desperate for some spare edge of familiarity.
He looked down at his hand, and the empty glass in it. "... I think I'll... go outside."
