Tauriel | The Hobbit (Film)
She's curious enough though, for her youthful and scant six hundred years, to want to take in the sights, the strange clothes, and the interactions of those around her.

He catches a glimpse of her from across the crowd and surges to his feet, heart beating fast against his ribs.
It's her.]
Tauriel!

Kili. How long have we been here, do you know?
no subject
This place can't be real, can it?
[Come on, seriously? It's more likely he's dead.]

[Experimentally, she reaches out and gives him a little pinch on his arm.]

Perhaps we've been Spelled?
no subject
Perhaps so. But I do not think it would be wise for us to act aggressively until we have a better understanding of why we have been brought here in the first place.

She doesn't want to be alone, here, but she's certain she is, and part of her thinks she should branch out and talk to people she doesn't know.
Part of her thinks she'll wake up, soon enough, that the last few weeks have been nothing more than a superbly bad dream, and this is the proof. She's hoping, anyway.

Granted, she's met very few humans, but still. She finds herself filled with sympathy when she senses the girl's uncertainty.
Her steps are silent and place her perhaps unexpectedly at Allison's shoulder.

"Uh, maybe a little," she says, a small tight smile on her face. "Usually when I'm at parties there's more dubstep and less... pixies."
no subject
"The celebrations I am accustomed to usually likewise lack for such creatures as well." says Tauriel with a faint smile. "If you will forgive me, I could not help but wonder that they would take a human at such a young age," she gestures with slender, strong finger toward the bow Allison carries, and then indicates her own, "But I can see you have a skill they would no doubt find useful."
no subject
"I'm not that good."

It's a peculiar situation, but one he went into willingly. Legolas had experienced first hand the threat and the calamity of a war, and while one would think he had enough of it in his lifetime, it wasn't quite so. Still willing to put forth effort to spare another world what comes with darkness and evil.
"It is all allies that we look upon, or should be," no distrust here, simply a fair share of wariness, "But a familiar face is still a thoroughly comforting sight."

A slender hand is lifted, offering a vague gesture to those gathered. "I do not understand the nature of the magic of this place."
