queen elsa ❅ frozen ( OTA )
[ Elsa takes great care to notice her gloves are tidies at all times; now, she pulls on them needlessly. she simply needs something to do to calm down. she takes deep, measured breaths (getting upset would only make it worse) and looks around herself. she took in only some of what she was told and even that bit worried her.
she approaches the Station, looking around herself, and takes a seat. she doesn't look quite like a queen, more a worried girl who is anxious of all the new faces around her. When she is offered a cup of coffee, she doesn't take it, she looks down at it with a little frown.
not sure if want. ]

Offered a cold drink, he blows on it to really chill the fruit juice and picks out a newly formed ice-cube as he slouches, crunching away. Idly glancing around, he catches sight of a blonde woman nearby (quiet, understated and a little sad, apparently), giving her a small smile of welcome even though she's been there longer. ]
Hi. Are you okay or just zoning out?
no subject
[ she lifts her head because 'zoning out' seems to be Anna-talk and she doesn't have Anna to translate but -
She stops, the question freezes on her lips as she watches him. it has gotten colder maybe but Elsa barely registers the change as used to the cold as she is. she is far more interested in the snow ( two snowflakes fall just so near his ankles ); because the day has not brought snow, the ground is clear of it. it seems to come from him and she knows it well, too well but -
but that is impossible and she sits back, upright and stiff. ]
I'm alright. Thank you.

I'm Jack, by the way. Can I get you a warm drink? I don't want to bother you and it might help you think.
[ All too self-conscious of the chill he brings, he can hear North in his head booming, Hot chocolate, Jack! It warms you from the belly-out! A pang of homesickness hits as a result, though it doesn't show outwardly and he remains polite. ]

I'm Queen Elsa, of Arendelle.
[ she does smile, allows some warmth to slip into the stony, formal introduction. ]
It's nice to meet you.
[ and odd. she is unused to meting new people. She does frown a bit. ]
Do you - trust them? I did not know if it was safe to drink it.

[ Jack heads over into the kitchen, opening the cupboards to find what he needs for a cup of tea. It won't turn cold if he doesn't touch anything for too long. When he rests his staff against a cupboard, the ice on it vanishes and the wood turns a natural brown. ]
You can watch me make you a drink, though, just to be sure it's okay.

Susan doesn't look much like a queen, either. They have that in common]
Personally, I prefer a strong cup of tea to coffee.

[ said without thought, a lack of formality that is careless and genuine and brings a small smile to elsa's lips -
before she remembers herself and looks down at her cup and then at the girl. ]
I'm not sure I trust them enough to drink this, either.

[she sounds a bit skeptical, like she doesn't want to entirely believe in the stories she just mentioned]

[ curiosity gets the better of her. she doesn't know much of fairies, of anything magical beyond her own magic and that -- well she fears it more than she admires it. this causes the caution she feels towards everything magic, truly. ]

[ from the corner of her eye, she watches as the woman beside her is offered a drink. and doesn't so much as decline with her words, but with the confusion on her face. ] It probably tastes like shit. [ she's british; she thinks anything that isn't a cup of tea — or a good alcoholic drink — tastes like shit. ] Coffee always does.

[ When Akito speaks, his voice starts out steady - until he realizes that maybe his opinion wouldn't be appreciated, at which point it quiets until it's just a murmur by the end. He continues fiddling with his smartphone absently, though by now he's just sifting through the photos of their friends. Ikki, Kazu, Buccha, Onigiri, Emily, Nakayama, Ringo, Akira...
He wonders if any of them will end up here too. Because he knows he's probably the least special of them all, yet here he is - apparently with some kind of very important magical shard growing inside his chest. ]

Fortunately for Anna, she rounds the corner to see 'something else' sitting uncomfortably, peering dubiously at a cup of coffee that's steadily growing cold. Every instinct in Anna's body tells her to rush towards Elsa and she starts to and stops, but then hesitates. Her feet feel rooted to the spot. Mentally, she primes herself for Elsa to turn away from her again. To shut her out. Well, not anymore! Anna won't let that happen again. Not now that she knows.
Still, when she calls out, she's a few feet away from Elsa still and her voice is halting and uncertain. ]
Elsa?
