elen → camelot's honour
[The creatures that brought her here are not the good neighours, that much is obvious from the way they treat her and the explanation they give, though that does not mean she won't treat them with the same suspicion.
When she sees someone reaching for the food that's been laid out, she raises a hand to still them.]
Do not touch the food or drink.
[She won't even feed any meat to the hawk on her gauntleted wrist, though Calonnau's hunger is making her feel lightheaded. The hawk can snap all she wants, the food is not safe.]
→ 3
[Elen searches for two things: Geraint, and freedom. The first eludes her, and she finds herself wishing he was with her; there is as much danger in the Little King's castle as there is here, but at least if he was here, they would be together to face whatever may be to come.
She keeps Calonnau close as she explores, despite the hawk's constant cries of complaint; Elen needs to feel her heart beating close by, even if the hollow in her chest aches more with each moment that passes.
But it is not a matter for now, neither is her lost husband, when it becomes clear he isn't to be found, and she turns her focus to finding a way to return home. There will be no simple door, but she knows how to see unseeable things, and there is more than one road to leave a place. She just has to discover it.]
