[ it's an innocent enough question, and only now is she starting to think about what kinds of repercussions this might have once they're able to go home. that's what she gets for running her mouth and not really thinking ahead.

But he can't think about all that right now. Right now, he has to think about what they're going to do next.] How much have you found out about this place? [Because seriously, if time is moving on back home as usual, he really needs to get back as soon as possible.]

[ it's a history told to her not only by katara but tenzin too, so perhaps there were some glossed over details here and there. and while korra knows there's absolutely no way for her to be the same type of avatar as aang, she does want to live up to his legacy while also being true to herself. it's a fine line to walk, but she seems to be doing pretty good so far, regardless of consequences.

but she can tell persuing that line of conversation's not going to get her anywhere, so she lets it go for now. ]
