Khalid Ben-Hassin/Doctor Fate | DCnU

01 [The castle is far and away far different from what Khalid knows, and the splendor of Caer Glaem especially is a far cry from the battlefields he's come to know all too recently. Even the Tower of Fate didn't stand up to where he found himself, and he finds himself clinging to the golden helmet as he looks at the food on the tables. After the slightest bought of insanity while being escorted here, he's lucid and unsure about all of this. It's bad enough he's fighting one war back home, but now he's fighting another? And he's doing it for people who, if myths are true, aren't really ever to be trusted.

Great, just wonderful. And here he thought Superman was all he had to worry about.

But that aside he's more focused on finding a corner to hide away in and figure things out, fingers tapping against the helmet as he tries to make his way towards one, accidentally bumping into someone as he does.

I'm sorry.
