[Yeah, Scott would have been willing to bet faeries, or however you spelled it, were definitely on the 'does not exist' list, but it looks like he was wrong. Way wrong, considering the circumstances.

He's still trying to process everything in his head, a plate of food in his hands. He's already eaten some. He doesn't know anything about faeries so let's hope it's not poisonous or anything.

Maybe if she were anyone else he would have run into her, not paying a whole lot of attention to where he was going. He's already bumped into a few people with half muttered apologies, and almost got into a fight some surly guy, who thankfully backed down when he saw his eyes glow.

Allison isn't just anyone else though. She's Allison, and from day one he's been able to pic her out of a crowd. So when he hears her, smells her, senses her there, he heads straight for her.]

[ She turns the second she hears his voice, because he's not the only one who can pick the other out in a crowd. She's not supernatural by any means, but there's no forgetting him, in any shape or form. If Allison believed in that kind of thing, she'd say it was fate.

She smiles when she sees him, relaxing instantly, more than a little sympathetic. ] Hey. They got you, too?

Yeah. Crazy, huh? Faeries and all.

[He glances around the room at the people around them, and the winged creatures flitting about. That was going to take some getting used to.

After a moment he turns back to face her.]

As well as I can be, all things considered. [ She nods a little, watching him. ] What about you?

[He shrugs.] Oh you know, mildly freaking out. Trying to wrap my head around it.

[Shaking his head.] You'd think I'd be used to this kind of thing by now.

[overdraws]

[ He earns a small laugh at that. ] Nah. This is totally different than someone turning into a giant lizard monsters. Jackson never managed to sprout wings.

Thank god! ['Cause if that had happened Scott wasn't sure what he would have done. Possibly had a major freak out.

He takes a bite of something off his plate, then holds it out to her offering her anything on it.]

I think I can handle faeries over lizard things any day. At least they're... friendly? [He was pretty sure they were friendly at least.]

[overdraws]

[ She hesitates after a moment, and then figures, why not? So she grabs what looks to be a slice of some kind of fruit, and takes a bit. ] Friendly enough, anyway. I mean, it's not every day that kidnappers throw a party for their victims.

No kidding. I feel like I need some, I don't know, princely clothes? What do princes even wear? Tunics?

[The food hasn't done anything weird to him yet, so it's probably safe. Not that he even considered that it might not be. Alpha he may be, but forward thinking is still something he needs to work on.]

I think Prince William wears khakis. [ It's delicious, if anything, and Allison snags another little bit off his plate, chewing thoughtfully. ]

You're right, though, [ She says, as a lovely woman dressed in what could only be described as a Lord of the Rings style gown walks past. ] I feel really under dressed.

[Scott actually saw one of the Lord of the Rings movies with Stiles once, though he couldn't name which one. This was definitely that kind of style. He watches the woman walk past as well.]

I'd probably look weird dressed like that though.

[ Allison looks back to him, and shakes her head. ] You think so? I think you'd look okay. Maybe not a dress, but... [ She scans the crowd, and then nods towards a male someone dressed a little more stereotypical fantasy. ] Maybe that? I think you could pull off the cloak and leather leggings.
