[The familiar sound of her name makes her turn and she smiles brightly at the sight of her mother. She almost drops her glass as she tries to step between other guests but she reaches Galadriel, somehow, without spilling it.]

Mother. Oh, I thought I wouldn't see you!

[And this- this- had been what she had been most angry at having been deprived. This reunion. It seems that she would not have to complete her voyage for it after all. She places her hands on Celebrian's shoulders, just barely restraining herself from pulling her into an embrace.]

And I worried that I would not see you.

[She finds a place to set aside her glass, stepping in to embrace Galadriel herself. Between coming here, getting ready for her wedding, wandering among strangers, her mother is a welcome sight.]

If you and I are here, could others be as well?

[She can't help but sound and look hopeful.]

[She's real. Her daughter is really here. Galadriel closes her eyes and hangs on for just a moment too long, treasuring the embrace.]

Perhaps, my dear, but I am not certain that I would wish for it. Even you I would prefer to see safe at home. [This is a war, after all.]

[If she's expecting a complaint, she won't have one. Celebrian is glad to hold on longer as well, despite both having different reasons behind it.]

Nor would I but it would be a comfort to know others. [Her smile is faint and she nods. She'd rather be home as well.] I would prefer us both home. We will be missed.

[She frowns a little] That concerns me as well. Tell me, how were your grandparents when you saw them last?
