[Roxas isn't fooled by NiGHTS' sudden appearance once. The sparks certainly bring back memories of his trips to Neverland and the thrill of being able to fly through the air thanks to Tinker Bell's pixie dust. Good times, even if there's a lingering distant feeling because of his memory wipe and recovery.]

Heh, if you have some pixie dust to share, I'd fly with you. Think that would be enough fresh air? [But for now, Roxas is content with leaning on the railing and scanning the view from there. It's better than panicking over his Other and lack of escape from this world.]

[dualizing]

Pixie dust?

[ NiGHTS whirls in the air, hanging dramatically by one hand from the frame and allowing herself to swing as she looks to Roxas. ]

Do I look like a pixie to you?

[ The question isn't asked with any malice, but with genuine curiosity. Not to mention amusement. A nightmaren is a far cry from the pixies she's seen in dreams. Dainty little winged creatures. ]

Not exactly. You're way too big to be one. [And...less human-like? He'll choose to withhold that comment.]

Pixie dust is the only way I know how of, so I figured you had some. [After gesturing towards her feet, Roxas takes a moment to heave himself up unto the railing so he can face her while seated. It's obvious from his smile that he's not even close to being worried about falling over, and he swings his legs a little in time to mimic her.]

I'm Roxas, by the way.

[dualizing]

[ There's a grin on her face as she watches, and by the end she's releasing her grip on the doorframe so she can hover closer. It's not a proper introduction if she doesn't hold out her hand to shake. She wouldn't dream of being unfriendly now! ]

My name's NiGHTS. You're right, I'm not a pixie. Not even close. And I don't have any pixie dust, either. But... I can help you fly, if you'd like.

[Roxas takes her hand in a firm grip, but her offer is what really makes his smile shine bright. His excitement is hard to contain. Gliding is so different from flying that it doesn't even compare.]

Sounds great! If it only involves believing, I've got that down, but I'm a quick learner either way.

[Lessons time, go! He's totally ready.]

If flying were that easy, we'd both see a lot more people in the air. But it is pretty simple. All you have to do is dualize with me.

[ She keeps her hand out after the shake, smiling cheerfully. It's an awful sudden question to ask someone she's only just met, but he seems genuine. ]

Would you like to try?

[Roxas...has no clue what he's really getting himself into, but considering the offer and Night's amiable disposition, he's not that worried. While the term 'dualizing' earns a quick look of confusion, he chuckles while taking her hand again.]

Not familiar with that, but it can't hurt to try.

[He's jumped down from a skyscraper & survived. It's all good.]

[dualizing]

Don't worry, it isn't scary. Unless you're afraid of heights.

[ With their hands together a spark forms between them. If he doesn't pull away, he'll very suddenly realize what dualizing involves. It isn't hard, if he's willing to try, but it does sort of require fusing into her body. ]

[Oh, yeah. Roxas is (sadly) very familiar with dualizing, or something close to it. Losing his body...And it's not Sora this time...

It's terrifying. He doesn't want to disappear, not again--]

I...?!

[Releasing her hand, he almost reels back to the point of almost falling over the railing. A shaky breath escapes him, and his gaze on her is not quite focused. The thought of flying is completely wiped from his mind because he's still worried, despite seeing himself intact, that he'll disappear any second.]

S-sorry. That's...a little too much. [If it had to be anyone, it would be Sora.]

[dualizing]

[ Aw. She looks surprised for a moment, then tucks her legs under her to sit mid-air, resting her face in one hand. She doesn't know or understand what might be bothering him, but she's not about to push it. She'll find someone else later. ]

Understood. You Dreamers are an awful lot more careful with your real bodies.

[ A pause. ]

Are you alright?

[13th_member]

...Yeah, I'm fine. [No, no he isn't. Terrible flashbacks are terrible.]

I just... ['want to find Sora'] don't want to disappear. [Again.]

Sorry about that. [This whole situation probably looks strange, so it's hard not to be self-conscious as he slowly begins to recollect himself. Deep breaths.]

[dualizing]

Oh. In that case, you don't need to be sorry at all.

[ NiGHTS could relate to that, but she keeps her mouth shut. It's not a pleasant experience to vanish from anything, whether you come back or not. Although she seems more confused than sympathetic. ]

Do you humans do that?

[There's a long pause on Roxas' end, mostly because he's debating on how much he needs to explain. If he's obligated to or not, if people will think of him differently or less.]

No, not really. I'm...kind of different. [Even if, deep down, he desperately wishes that wasn't the case.]

If Sora was here, I'm sure he'd fly with you. [A small, self-deprecating smile begins to grow.]

[dualizing]

I understand. Where I come from you can disappear at times, too. It's complicated.

[ Unfortunate, too. But necessary, sometimes. For the greater good and all that. But that's not a story she's going to push on a stranger! ]

Is this Sora a friend of yours?

[13th_member]

[That's...a very good question, actually.] Not quite. We only met recently.

[The thought is nice despite being impossible to actually work out. Of course they would get along too (if they weren't fighting each other), since he is him. At least Roxas is back to smiling more naturally again. Even after going through so much pain and watching his best friend fade right before his eyes, Sora is still an important person to Roxas.]

But I'd like to be. I guess you could say I've been watching out for him for awhile.
