He taps out a simple command, pulling up a list of names and corresponding pictures. His brow furrows in concentration.]

I badgered one of the locals here to show me at least the basic usage of one these things. [He doesn't look up from Beleg as he replies, focused on the device in his hands.] It's incredible and I have not an inkling of how it works. But it can store information, can be used for communications...it seems endless really, the tasks it can accomplish. [He pulls his gaze away and holds it up for Beleg to see.] I believe this is a list of the inhabitants here.
