[ A tiny Asian girl suddenly pops up in your path, her smile wide and a bit manic. ]

Hello! I'm Kami Glass writing on behalf of The Nosy Parkerette, and if you have a moment I'd like to ask you a few questions about our sudden predicament. How do you feel about being abducted by fairies for potential blood sport, do you believe in Peter Pan, and what's the worst nightmare you've ever had?

[ Fairies are real? Tell Kami something shocking, like, the world actually is flat and the moon really is made of cheese. Beings of incomprehensible power attempting to manipulate her for their own ends? Must be Tuesday. Being kidnapped at least is new, and she's not happy about that. ]

[ Honestly, Kougyoku was just curious of what was so great about the station. Oh, right. The Station. Sorry. Isn't it just a place with a lot of metal? She lets out a yelp when Kami appears out of nowhere, bringing her arms close to her chest as if to protect herself. ]

I, um, well— [ This is very overwhelming. It almost makes her want to hide behind her silk sleeves. ] P-Peter Pan? [ What kind of name is that? ] Um, blood sport isn't what I'd call it... [ But she would sure treat it like one! ]

Sorry. [ She smiles apologetically. First interview subject and Kami is already freaking her out. As usual, she is off to a great start. ]

What would you call it? I'm Kami, by the way.

Kami. [ She looks down at the thumbs she's been twiddling for some time. Kami, what an odd name. Maybe it's from somewhere further east, or a different world altogether. Either way, she's already forgiven her. ] I am Kougyoku.

Um... this is war, isn't it? We are fighting for our worlds and our lives, aren't we? So if this is the only way I can return, I don't care if the courts think us fools for fighting for their cause. I just want to go home.

[ Then again, there isn't anyone on the other side who can change her mind at the moment. She's ignorant, she's new. ]

[Fionna blinks, but gets to work on answering those questions almost immediately.]

I don't know. Is it still abduction if you choose to go? Who's Peter Pan? Once I had a dream where Cake accidentally ate the entire Candy Kingdom and I had to go inside her to rescue everyone only when I got there the only thing in her stomach was a burrito. A really good burrito. [Hmmmm.] I guess that wasn't the worst nightmare I ever had after all.
