[ if percy were to ask alisha what she thought of the shard being inside of them all, she'd tell him it was bullshit. there's nothing inside any of them that makes them special. things outside of their control do that — lightning storms and other powerful and incredibly unstable people. shit happens because she didn't ask for it (and, jesus, doesn't she sound like curtis?). but with this shard comes free food — and alisha's going to focus on that for now. her friends are safe; simon will come find her; nothing bad is going to happen here because she won't be here long enough for anything shitty to happen. ]

[ with a plate in her hand, she pulls the seat out beside him. it's then that she looks up and sees him — and perhaps it's the polite thing to do, to ask this question: ] Er. Anyone sitting here?

[ he's off in la la land really, zoning out. he's not a thinker because it's dangerous and he doesn't belong in his own head. he doesn't have the patience for it mostly and also? his ideas are dangerous, so. Percy's attention snaps instantly in her direction once she reaches for the chair beside him and he straights up, shaking his head. ] Nope. It's all yours.

[ it's kind of nice to be eating with people, like actually eating beside them instead of around them. Poseidon's table, except for the times when his half-Cyclops brother was there, tended to be party of this guy. ] Did you.. Did you just get here too?

[ alisha sits, plopping her plate on the table before her. she doesn't touch any of the food on her plate, however. letting out a big sigh, alisha doesn't look at all pleased at percy's question. ] Yeah. Get kidnapped and thrown a feast. [ she shakes her head. with her eyes narrowed in confusion, she asks: ] You got some weird shard inside of you?
