It's not just that he's her connection to her true love or that he's Rumple's son; it's that he's her family, now, someone she cherishes beyond something as simple as the ties that Rumplestiltskin had left them with. He's someone to be cared for, tended for, now, in her mind, and she would certainly go out of her way to take care of him.
Lifting a hand to his cheek, she tilts her head and offers a soft, caring smile, nodding once. She's just so glad he's here and that he's alright; together they can get out of this place, she's sure, and find a way to bring Rumple back to them. ]
