[ Akito is jolted out of his daze by the bit of food that lands on his lap. He jumps slightly, letting out a bit-back squeak of surprise. It doesn't take him long to figure out what's happened, and he's quick to offer a small, awkward smile to show that there's no harm done. ]

It's okay. They needed a wash anyway, ne?

[ though the food on his lap reminds him that he's hungry. He and Agito have both been avoiding eating and drinking as much as they can, out of fear the more they eat the more indebted they might become. They take only what they need to survive. Their stomach so kindly growls it's disagreement with this plan.

Akito reluctantly offers the food to the boy who dropped it; holds out the hem of his shirt like a tray. ]
