You have no idea how happy I am to hear that right now! This place is full of humans. I keep thinking they bite my toes.

I'm a vampire. But don't worry! I don't drink blood. Well I do, but I take blood substitutes! Mostly I eat mice and frogs.

[ She pauses to look skeptically at him. Not all monsters have toes, so she looks him over skeptically. It's hard to tell what he has hidden under his boots and clothes. ]

And yes toes! Do you not have toes?

I...have no idea what you're talking about, miss.

[Vampires? Blood drinking? What?

Only Legolas and Galadriel are allowed to get him this confused, okay, and that's because as Elves that's their job.]

And I meant to ask what humans have to do with toes--and why wouldn't someone have them?

[ How does she even begin? He is clearly not a monster either. Everyone knew who she was or if they didn't know about her, they knew about her dad... he was sort of famous. Talk about a culture shock. ]

Humans want to bite them. Not all of them apparently but enough of them do, or burn my clothes. Also not all monsters have toes. Some have tentacles or don't even have any appendages at all!

[On the one hand, he can understand the "humans are prone to great acts of racism" thing. On the other...she's disturbing him.]

Monsters....right.

[She is very clearly disturbed herself. She can't be a monster, she looks human!]

I, ah, am not sure where you come from, miss, but I do not think you'll have any problems with the humans.

[ Except for her fangs. ]

The last time I encountered humans, they lit themselves on fire.

[ Unbeknownst to her, they were zombies. But hey, she though they were humans. ]

I'm afraid they'll do it again once they find out what I am. So far no one has screamed at me about being a vampire yet. That's a positive, right?

[Lit themselves on fire? He's right, this girl is quite insane. He bows slightly]

I must be off. I have heard there are friends of mine here and I must find them.

[ Her face fell as he said he was leaving, making her look sad and a little, well pathetic. ]
