[ A bright peal of laugher follows that response, hearty and unbidden as Legolas always is. He throws his head back, one of his hands resting on Gimli's shoulder, and then the laughter tapers off. ]

[ And to show his own jesting, he gives Gimli a little wink with the delighted smile. ]

[ Legolas hums soft and amused. ]

Very well, I shall be quiet.

[ And still, he remains quiet! His lips curl into his mouth, and Legolas bites on the flesh from within and his smile widens yet, sharpens in his tease that comes without words. Eyes wide, dimples in his cheeks showing. ]

[ Finally he laughs out loud, and breaks the silence with words as well. ]
