[ So, he's Italian, is he? Or maybe he just prefers to speak in Italian? She hasn't been to Italy yet, but she's had time enough to watch it from home. Noticing that he's doing her the courtesy of lowering himself a little closer, she happily trots the rest of the way to meet him. Her tail is already waving in the air, and she smiles for him.

When she's close enough, she'll take to checking out his boots through scent, circling him as she goes, until her muzzle is bumping against his fingers. This is her Hello, but if it isn't good enough, she can always shake hands with him. ]

[ yes, italian indeed! so italian, in fact, that it seems the magic that translates speech here in the draubworld only barely works on him, so heavy is his accent. ]
