Looking for a little slice of home? The Station gives you all that and more. Take advantage of the wifi, have a cup of fairy-brewed coffee (the one they didn't spit in) or sit back and relax on the patio. You can even move your things into one of the available rooms!

[Yes, when one flew around with a giant winged lion and had various Clow Card beasties here and there, a gryphon probably wasn't a huge deal. ;) They don't all talk though, do they?! 8D

Zhaneel looks positively embarrassed, nares (nostrils) flushing as she shakes her head, clicking her beak.]

No... I'm farrr to big to be in herre ... I can harrrdly move even with my wingsss folded. [She looks the small girl over in concern, eyes bright and ear tufts alert and forward.] I didn't harrrm you, did I??? [Because she'd never forgive herself.]

M-maybe if we keep you outside where you have more room, so you don't get stuck.....?

[Of course this is Sakura, more concerned with the gryphon than any possible injury herself. She shakes her head at the question, trying to reassure Zhaneel. At least she is somewhat used to overly large winged creatures and trying to fit them inside somehow.]

I'm okay. I just wouldn't want you too uncomfortable or getting stuck inside like this...

[Zhaneel nods, looking quickly around at the gathering of creatures before huddling back against the wall.]

I had not expected the festivitiesss to get so packed, so quickly... Now that I am in, I am afraid I am already rather ssstuck... [And she didn't want to bother anyone while tryin to make her escape.] At least until thingsss quiet down a bit... [Who knew when that would be, but they couldn't party all night, could they?] I will just keep myself out of the way.

It looks like a lot of people also showed up around the same time we did...

[She considers the situation for a moment. Which Card may help. If she had one that could make Zhaneel smaller even temporarily.....but none that come to might have that ability. Jump might help get them outside but they would need to find a big enough window. Some she might be able to use to clear the room but that could still cause panic and she doesn't necessarily want that either.]

You're sure you're okay? If I can help somehow...maybe I can try explain to everyone, help clear a path for you to get back outside?

Zhaneel can't know the lengths the girl is contemplating to help her, by the fact that she's trying to help her at all is the surprising fact. She flushes across the nares and shakes her head, beak moving swiftly from one side to the other.]

No... It issss fine. I will just try to remain out of the way until the crowd thinsss a bit. [The party couldn't continue *forever*, right? She studies the girl again, finally bobbing her head in greeting.]

I am Zhaneel... thank you for trying to help...

Oh...okay then. Zhaneel-san, that's a different name. I'm Sakura. Sakura Kinomoto.

[She introduces herself, taking a break from exploring and looking around as she talks to the gryphon. Of course she wants to help, but she trusts if there were something wrong, Zhaneel would move if necessary at least. Perhaps she's just worrying too much.]

I just figured if there were something I could do....Um, are there a lot of big birds like you back home?

[Just as Sakura thinks Zhaneel's name to be unique, so the gryphon thinks of the young girl.]

It is a pleasure to meet you, Sakura... but fret not over me, please. [Zhaneel didn't think herself worth the concern, really. She then tilts her head curiously, ear tufts flicking forward.]

We gryphons are of a numberrr, yesss... It seems that we are rather unknown in many places that are not our own homeland.

Unknown? So you're...unique to that specific home? I guess I haven't really thought of whether some animals back home might be only there. But....they don't talk. Not like you do.

[Well. Besides the likes of Kero anyway. And even then he's...unique. Better to just roll with the reassurances and take Zhaneel at her word. Turn the topic to something else.]
