[ thomas only catches a look at lydia out of the corner of his eye and he has to do a double take (and then immediately turns bright red and has to look away again.) this whole...halloween-masquerade-party thing is something he should probably remember doing besides vague thoughts of trick or treating, the taste of a chocolate bar on his tongue, but courtesy of his WICKED stolen memories, thomas is left looking kind of like an idiot, leaning on the wall.

she's--a good dancer. thomas's only real experience with dancing is the crank rave he was kidnapped to (not a pleasant one) but this is a little better. he approaches a little hesitantly, fingers gentling at the buttons on the cloak around his neck, as if he could pull it off and cover her with it if she needed it. he refuses to look literally anywhere but the floor or her eyes as he speaks up. ] Lydia, are you, um.
