As he searches his pockets for a notebook, to document what has happened and his feelings on it, while the memory of Hyde is most fresh, Jekyll realises the gash in his shoulder. He sees the blood staining his waistcoat, and as his eyes follow its trail, Emil. He scrambles to raise a hand, to relent, eyes suddenly wide, green and innocent, compared to the darkness of Hyde's. The voice that comes with it is not only full of fear, and a desperate plea, but softer than his other self, not so deep.]

Aah-- please--!

[Yet the other half lurks beneath the surface, as it always does, but now more so. He'll allow Jekyll to be, for the sake of his own safety. So long as he's better off that way. Though he may well take over and attack.]

[Now that is a surprise. Enough that he stops, cocking his head to the side. It could be a trick, except he knows far too well that it isn't. With a soft snort, he leans down and picks his sword back up, jamming it into the sheath.]

Keep that dog on a better leash.

[And just like that, everything about his demeanour changes, softens. And the voice that comes out once those eyes turn from red to green is much gentler as well.]

H-Huh?! Decus? Wait, I- [And apparently deeply confused.] Where am I...?

[Then he spots the poor bloody guy and quickly comes over.]

Are you okay?!

[He accepts it so easily, both sides are shocked, but it eases Hyde's presence. He can relent. But the same sort of change is all the more surprising, it's amazingly similar. For a scientist, it's fascinating - and maybe worrying. It can't be that his drug has somehow spread, can it?]

I- yes, I am. [And indeed, though there's blood, it's already healing. Even the fabric begins to weave itself back together. Any burns suffered take the same course, and though he pulls a glove off to check the state of his hands, those too begin to heal. But Jekyll searches Emil's person, unsure of exactly what damage Hyde may have done.]

Rather, are you? It seems we...no, another 'we', did not get on so well.

[Unlike Jekyll, Emil can't heal as easily. Blood still soaks through and he quickly presses his hands over it. He needs to grab a gel from his bag. But first--]

Oh... Oh no, I'm really sorry! I don't remember things anymore when that happens so I... [Well. It's hard to explain and he is kind of bleeding.] Could you get a yellow coloured gel from my bag...? The other you must be strong.

[Jekyll immediately treats the wound as first priority. Before making any other acknowledgement, he jumps to his feet to do as asked. As a doctor, how could he not? He rummages until he finally finds the right one and offers it to Emil, unsure as to how exactly it works.]

Do you require medical attention? I'm a trained physician, if you need anything at all. I'm so sorry. I've begun to have difficulty remembering as well, I understand - no need to apologise.

It'll be all right for now. [He eats the gel and sure enough, the bleeding stops. As for healing, it'll take longer but it's a start. Emil gives him a weak smile.] These gels heal slowly so...

[He can't help feeling awkward now. Someone else has another self? And a violent other self too. What should he do now?]

...I'm Emil. And we just call the other one Ratatosk Mode.

[Jekyll watches the gel go to work, fascinated. Even if it takes a while to do much more, that it stops bleeding so immediately is amazing. What grand inventions and medical advancements!

However, he does feel the awkwardness as well. What should he say to someone Hyde has attacked, or to one who shares his trouble of alter egos?]

I'm Dr. Henry Jekyll. ...My other self is Hyde - Edward Hyde. I have...never met another in this situation.
