invinciblegirl: (how did you get in the tree this time)

[Pyrrha has sharp eyes, and she spots the figure out in the distance. Even with her limited information, it's not hard to put two and two together.

Calling out would be a bad idea, so she doesn't. Instead, she works her way down the stairs and outside. It's easy enough to say she's going for a walk to clear her head, and not exactly a lie.

She doesn't take her spear out, but her shield is at the ready as she leaves the castle.]

[When she left the castle walls, the armored figure was still there. Drawing closer would reveal blackened armor and a silver cloak upon a slight form. The horse was dun colored and a fine warhorse, though the knight and the horse was relatively relaxed.

A single imp perched upon the knight's shoulder, and it was the one that spotted the redhead first. Slowly, the knight's gaze shifted upon her, but she made no move to draw the sword hanging on her saddle.]
invinciblegirl: (are you okay?)

[personal profile] invinciblegirl 2014-11-20 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
[What in the world...

The imp doesn't look like any of the creatures Pyrrha knows. That would be a warning sign, normally; she's used to the idea that any creature that doesn't look familiar is a potential threat. It doesn't seem to be causing the knight any harm, though, so it's easy enough to ignore for the moment.

Eventually, she approaches closely enough that she's easily within the knight's earshot.]

It's a lovely night, isn't it?

[personal profile] scorchedchivalry 2014-11-20 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
The nights are always lovely in the sight of Caer Glaem.

[The horse shifted and Saber reached up to tap the imp on the top of the head when he hissed at the Seelie shardbearer.]
invinciblegirl: (i think so)

[personal profile] invinciblegirl 2014-11-20 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
I take it that's not the case everywhere.

[The little bump on the imp's head is enough to bring a smile to her face.]

Your friend can tell one court from another?

[personal profile] scorchedchivalry 2014-11-20 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
If you ever see Caer Scima, you will understand my words. Or any place in Drochadus, for that matter.

[Saber glanced over at the imp once.] All of the fae here can tell of which court a shadbearer belongs.

[Pyrrha nods, taking that in. She'll have to go exploring for herself one of these days.]

I see. I'll have to pay Drochdadus a proper visit once I'm better settled in.

- interesting. They go by instinct?

[personal profile] scorchedchivalry 2014-11-20 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
I do not have the answer to that question. The fae here are similar yet still different from those I am familiar with.

Take care when you travel to Drochadus. It is not a kind land to those of the Seelie.
invinciblegirl: (it's also a javelin)

[personal profile] invinciblegirl 2014-11-20 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I hadn't realized. I don't believe we have faeries back in Remnant. If they exist, they probably hide within packs of Grimm.

[She nods.]

I take it the same is true for Unseelie traveling to Glaschu. May I - no, that's imposing.

It is not quite as dangerous if we do not bear arms. The Seelie, in general, hold themselves to a code that some of us understand quite well.
