Looking for a little slice of home? The Station gives you all that and more. Take advantage of the wifi, have a cup of fairy-brewed coffee (the one they didn't spit in) or sit back and relax on the patio. You can even move your things into one of the available rooms!

[ What is she doing? Eliminating things that were walking around with blood (taunting her) soaked garments, but what for? They weren't her enemy. ]

Cleaning up this mess. [ Dropping the goblin, the weapon wriggles free from her flesh as it began to heal, landing with a resounding thud between her feet. ]

What do you think you're doing? This is a battlefield.

[ And boy you don't look like a fighter. ]

[His eyes widen as he watches the speed with which she heals - he's never seen that before. It's amazing. A bad sign in some ways, but even so, amazing.]

I know that. I'm here to help. [He might not be a fighter, but he can recklessly rush into things to save people. And possibly get himself killed in the process, but he's not thinking about that part. Even in directly antagonising someone clearly powerful.]

Which I guess is the opposite of what you're doing.

[ That gets her a bit cross, but instead of snapping at him in anger, her response is a defensive huff. ]

I'm here to help too! [ She's helping. Look at how much she's helping.

Waving her arms around as if to indicate that, all she's doing is drawing further attention to the corpses of humans and goblins alike. Oops. ]

[Somehow, that helps to calm Tatsumi down. He still doesn't trust her intentions, but, well, it's sort of a cute reaction.]

Who do you think you're helping like that? Attacking something that doesn't stand a chance won't help anything.

That's because these things were provoking me. [ Now how to explain that without outright saying she's a vampire?? ]

Do you see their caps scattered around? They were soaking up the b-blood of the dead and putting them back on their heads. Isn't that unsightly?

...That is pretty awful. Were they the ones who did this, then?

[Let it not be said that he is naive. Wait, yes, do say that, he is naive. And will believe a pretty girl over most people.]

[ Yay, she's a pretty girl! ] Oh this-?

I'm not sure who did this. Probably the winning side.

[ Pausing thoughtfully. ] Who is winning this week? I forgot.

...You don't know? Weren't you part of it?

[Basically he doesn't know either. How can he keep up? All that matters is it's awful either way.]

I guess the Seelie probably have more people, so probably more often them? I don't know.

[ It is pretty bad, but she doesn't really understand wars, only that one side is usually winning when it comes to a massacre like this. ]

You don't recognize anyone here, right? [ Lifting up one of the dead bodies by the scruff of their neck to show him. ]

Like him-? I'm just asking.

Way to change the subject...

[There's alarm bells still, but he steps forward all the same. Though he tries to take a good, long look at the example, Tatsumi can really only manage to glance.]

No, I haven't really seen anyone I recognise much. Just a few 'hey didn't I see you around that party that one time' sort of thing.

[ Was it a change in subject? She just thought identifying the dead was of more importance than whether or not she contributed to the battle. There's no blood on her, so that should be evidence enough--or so she thought. ]

No telling their allegiance from looks alone?

Maybe we can use the lockets to broadcast this mess and see if anyone recognizes them.

[ Isn't that a bit crude? She doesn't seem to grasp that doing so is a Bad Idea. ]

...You want to film it? Do you have any idea how awful that'd be? That's just plain bad taste, no one wants to see a bunch of dead bodies!

[But maybe she's on the right track, sort of.]

How about just letting people know it's pretty bad, and if they have friends involved, maybe they should come take a look. ...And have someone get the hospital or whatever out here.

What's so awful about it? [ Dead bodies are just dead bodies, man.

She asks this question out loud with a completely innocent tone, almost as if she's really incapable of grasping why it's awful. ]

Because people shouldn't have to die, it'll upset them. How do you not get that, what are you, an alien?

[He sighs heavily, but there's no animosity to it.]

-Wait, they have an army and they don't even have a medical unit or something? Healing wizards?

No, I'm a vampire. [ Because that's less crazy than an alien right?? ]

Healing wizards-? Just what kind of world are you from if there are healing wizards?

[ There's something to be said about the VAMPIRE making fun of the concept of HEALING WIZARDS tbh. ]

[Wait what. He just kind of stares for a while.] ...A vampire, really? You don't look like one.

[That's a compliment, his idea of a vampire is stereotypical Dracula kind of deal.]

But then you should know what I mean! I don't know how it works, if there's vampires and mages and goblins and all that, then why not healing wizards?

That's not how it works at all. [ What's with this guy?? ]

--hold on, vampires look a certain way in your world?

[ This is important because if vampires from his world show up, she might have to kill those as well. Time to get all the information she can out of him, short of beating him for it. ]

No, I mean, I don't know if they even exist. I would've said they don't, but now I'm not sure? They might, but I wouldn't know how they look.

[Is that bad?]

You just told me I didn't look like a vampire and now you're saying you're not sure how they look. [ Huffing up a bit. ]

[--Ack] No! No, see, I mean, when I think 'vampire' I think, like...well, black and white, cheesy movie Draculas. Not...you know...

['You know' what? He trails off, suddenly rubbing his neck as he looks away, cheeks red.]

[YEAH]

[ Ohhh. ] So you have no idea what you're talking about.

Does your brain turn to mush when you see a pretty girl? I hear that happens to a lot of boys your age.

...N-no, definitely not...!

[Yes it does it totally does. That he knows it shows on his face.]

I just wouldn't expect it! That's a good thing!

If you're going to talk about vampires and mingle with them, you ought to be able to determine who is one and who isn't. For example, if all of this--[ Motioning to the massacre around them. ]--was my doing, within a few moments all these dead bodies would come back to life.

Then you'd be the only non-vampiric presence here.

Well it's not like I knew I was going to be talking to vampires! I didn't know they were real! ...Although that'd be pretty bad, huh.

[But he trusts her, she must be a good vampire! Give him a break, though, he only just learned about magic!!]

[ A good vampire. Oh no, please don't start thinking like that!! ]

Isn't there a lot of things here that are unheard of in other worlds?

she's from an early enough canon point that getting the girl is possible (and it'll have to do)
