[Kara tensed when she smelled the woman coming close but jumped a little when the mug was set down. For the briefest moment, her eyes turned gold before she closed them and pulled her wolf back. This was a human. Yes, this human had an odd scent to her, but she was still human. That much her nose told her, which meant her wolf was stronger.

When she looked up at the woman, her eyes were brown once again.]
