Current or future plans: he will be a big part of the war effort as he's been tasked with keeping communications between the armies! he'll continue travelling around the drabwurld, attempting to sell his cows, and actually sending those girls on tasks to go collect information!
Catch-up: luke's been laying low and enjoying december. he attended a christmas party with girlfriend thalia and got trolled in the boons with cows.

Shipping: sure! luke's in a good headspace now that he is going to see a girl and realise she's a girl. he is hopelessly in denial over his feelings for thalia (which are p intense). but totally cool with people having a crush on him, as he is canonically stated to be a ladies' man. i'm more into slow burn relationships as a relationship with luke is a Big Fucking Deal to him.

I KNOW WE JOKE But I still think no matter what happens (friends/marrieds/everything) she will be good for him and will go out of her way to make him see that he is a good person that deserves all the love and companionship that he can possibly get! He would also be good for her in making her get a bit more spirited after everything she's been doing here and getting herself up to fighting without magic and so on. but that is exactly how i feel c: their friendship is really important to me and it's so good and unexpected and wonderful, especially considering how they can balance each other out!! but hermione definitely thinks luke is really nice and handsome and there is a crush-thing happening at least on her side (but that's okay, she's used to ignoring crushes) so she is entirely focussed on making sure her friends are safe and happy! when you consider it's been like sixish months that they've been friends and stuff ingame it doesn't seem as woAH frightening so i really appreciate how precious they are!!
but she really needs to talk to him about all the Stress that's going on because she does miss him and needs to see him. she also thinks that he will definitely be the type of person to tell her the truth about whether or not she did the Right Thing, since i think they've touched on the idea of growing and proving and stuff before. she really trusts him a lot and she doesn't need a cow, luke. please.

i think they're both just in Denial because there's so much going on that they can't think about anything romantic (hermione had to for a bit when ron was here but that's not an issue so romance is the backburner considering all the death and destruction) and what is more important to her is the idea of helping luke!! so if that means she has to help him deal with his issues re: everything including girls she will (she did it for harry she can do it for him even if she might pout more for luke because. really.) their lives are 900% awkward but THEY NEED TO KISS AND GET MARRIED (even if they only get married for power that would be so incredible i can't stop laughing about the idea of it they're so stupid. also tell me more about the cows. do george and martha ship it.)
i think that's what she needs!! but even then i mean hermione will be torn but she is very set on, you know, people proving themselves and doing better (look at how she views snape, for example, who was proven death eater and she still said he was trying to make a change and be good and supported him up until he had to what he had to do) and she will be fiercely loyal to him. because she adores him and she knows already that he beats himself up and she wants to help him develop a bit and stuff.

the cows will ship it. george ships those who give him rats with luke. and martha ships all the ladies with luke but primarily ships luke/healthy happiness beneath all her wedding plans and nudging him toward EXPERIENCING LIFE and the things like that. and i think achlys and polemos just ship themselves with crushing luke to death since they sit on him all the time. fucking dogs, man.
hopefully 2015 is where they stop being passing ships in the night and become more involved in each other's things! luke went through his downward spiral and is picking himself up now, so, head camp counsellor luke will rear his ugly head a lot to tell her to slow down

we definitely need to do more stuff this year and get them back on being the best of best friends and she's heading on her own downward spiral, look at that cute contrasting romance crap. she's stressing so much and pulling out her hair and she needs someone to sit her down and be like "yo, chill" and make sure she doesn't end up passing out from exhaustion which is. entirely likely at this point, to be honest. but she will come and support luke and heY she doesn't have a boyfriend, thank you, she just has a really weird family and some sisters and a super strong dad but you know whatever that's normal here, right. he's going to feel so bad!! but don't think it's unreciprocated. he'll be trying to focus all on her and none of him because that's just how luke rolls! no one knew he was fracturing at camp half-blood, so i can only discern that he was probably really good at keeping up a front. too bad he sort of ruined that with hermione who can see through stupid bullshit! if she invites him to stay he probably will never leave and put some good locks on her doors to prevent people from breaking in ... luke's the guy to tell her to chill out. HE GOT HER AN IPOD SO SHE WOULD! she'll have to recharge it at the station so, you know, YOU'RE MEANT TO CALL HIM. he definitely already has an invite to her house so he knows it's there (because magical charms, luke, you literally cannot tell anyone about her house) and can pop in at any time! and yes, she sees through stupid bullshit so quickly that she could just stare at him with a :/ face until he tells her what's going on. she's seeing through harry's self-righteous rubbish about doing it alone~ and keeping her safe~ for a good seven years, she can handle you, luke. just come and cuddle her, okay. though that is a good idea for a thread!! hermione probably listens to the ipod when she's brewing so it'll die pretty... quick... and so she can definitely cry at luke like PLEASE FIX MY IPOD show her how the magic of ipod charging works when you don't have to use magic to try and manipulate it somehow!! she's completely open for the next month as far as i know (there's some ehh plans about her going sigil hunting with lance but idk when that will be!!) so we can definitely plan to do something or forward/backdate some stuff c:
