Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Planned Travel: She plans to range around pretty freely, while circling back to Mair whenever she gets bored/tired. I have all her maybe plans outlined on her skip page, and will be editing that as I make more concrete plans.
General overview of recent events: Fought in the battle against Unseelie, helped Lumina attempt to help the Jabberwock...did a quest in Mair that ended up slightly bloody but hey.
Recent open threads/posts: Just one at the first battle so it's a bit backdated, here.

Who are your character's known associates/friends/enemies?: CR chart; people she likes to be around the most are probably Eren, Berserker, Lucifer, Lumina, Damon, Jack...etc.
What notable events has my character been a part of?: The whole battle thing I guess!!! Shijima has been around for two months and change and done two quests, but unless people were around Mair they may not have heard of those.
What can other characters easily ICly learn about your character?: She doesn't give a single fuck about keeping her immortality a secret and has referenced it on the network when speaking to others in public. Finding out about her shapeshifting might be harder; it's not hard to find out she's not human, though, since Shijima doesn't bother to try to pretend these days. She also kind of says suicidal things a lot, so uh. It's actually pretty easy to figure out she's a cat; Shijima has told a lot of people about it and frequently behaves as though she is, so.
What information is limited to specific CR?: Probably specifics of Tenpenka (shapeshifting); she's only told maybe two people she's added bird-form to her list of shapes.
What information is my character willing to share/can be readily discovered if another works to uncover it?: Pretty much anything tbh as long as she likes you or at least doesn't dislike you. And as long as she's in a sharing mood. Cats.

• MAY - Kills a golden swan out of boredom. ...That turns out to get a figurine, so she kills a bunch more for fun more than profit. Old cat ladies need to take their amusement where they can get it, ok.


• JUN - Maybe go to Treun's tourney if Unseelie can go to that?


• AUGUST - Forest golem run-in sounds fun.

Oh, neat! In that case he'd probably see a lot of her whenever she circles back around to lurk at the farm. He'd also probably figure out really quickly she wasn't lying about the cat thing (and it's ok if he treats her like an actual cat sometimes, esp in that form) since she will lounge around as a cat sometimes just because she likes...being a cat...and he might learn she has a bird form, too, but she only really uses that for travel.

Ahaha in that case I make no promises that he won't try to pet her or pick her up because cats. He likes cats a lot, may bring presents for cat-jima etcetc.. ...also wow well that I did not know, that is really, really cool. So overall it sounds like we have a lot of potential for doing things during the timeskip so o/

HORDE IT although yeah shijima's just like SHRUG about human money. or gold. whenever she gets it she is likely to kinda...well she doesn't like to keep it that much (the figurines are shiny so she's ok with keeping one or two but will fail to use them as actual currency, she will just line them up on her windowsill and stare at them) or bother with it so.

she is ok with being spoiled in cat form AS IT SHOULD BE. and yeah, she finally caved and went FINE, UNLOCK A FORM FOR ME for her boon last month! she uses something called Tenpenka which is a shapeshifting art - her human form is just shifted into, and she's technically able to reform into whatever if she ever cares enough but she got locked into the two forms. She thinks it is like SUPER SHAMEFUL because ugh birds are dumb

OKAY SO I think I more or less figured out what might be good travel dates, here's what I had in mind: they could head off from Mair sometime in July so they reach Leathann in time for the light festival in August (and maybe encounter some forest golems along the way). I wanted an excuse to hit up the new Barrel location, so after the festival they can travel the coastline and come across that. Then perhaps Treun next? And once they're finished with that they can head back to Mair just in time for Samhain stuff. What do you think?

I think this is an excellent plan and I WILL ADD IT TO MY TRACKER. It's a good-sized trip and they get to do a lot of cool stuff, so!!!! We can pick out whatever portions of it we'd like to log and etc (Eren will probably actually get to see her transformations in action during the trip ha...ha...SHE WAS NEVER LYING ABOUT THEM, BRO.)
