Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Hey! I don't know if you'd be interested , but some of Waver's quests might be of use to Cullen and his goals. There's a lot of trying to calm the damage down in politics and such. (Waver's also had a touch of CR with the Inquisitor and is close to Cothromach's leader, if that helps any.)

Not this month (since I just took one from Lancelot) but he might take the quest to fight undead skeletons and the like because that's a thing he is actually good at. :o

and yes!!! depending on how things develop, he might feed Lavellan some information about Seelie stuff for the neutral cause so THAT WOULD BE A WAY FOR THEM TO CONNECT.

also Thedas might have horrible ways of handling mages but at least outside of Tevinter no one cares about lineage!!!

yessss that would be most excellent. waver's helping to try and get lavellan a base of operations of sorts too, and i'll be gunning to get it into more neutral territory since the inquisition's split between courts

IT'S ACTUALLY REALLY HILARIOUS HOW NICELY FATE/ MAGES AND TEVINTER MAGES MATCH UP IN TERMS OF SOCIETY. Tevinter is more or less what would happen if they could act in public rather than hide underground
