Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Planned Travel: Wherever he wants to go. O.O I've outlined what he will basically be doing on his page - if there are any changes to that, I will update it with links and such.
General overview of recent events: Well, he died and lost his Shard and Locket. But he's feeling much better now under the care of the Elves King Thranduil and Legolas left behind.

Who are your character's known associates/friends/enemies?: Arwen, Gimli, Faramir, Maglor, Grainne, Muscovy, Arya, Elizabeth of York, Fili, Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, Gendry and a certain nymph and fairy that like to follow Aragorn around whenever he's in the forest. All of the above fall under associates/friends, of course. His only true enemy thus far is Saber (Alter).
What notable events has my character been a part of?: He killed Vampires with the Elves, helped them prepare for battle and died in the first battle. His Shard was removed by Saber (Alter) and he has thus returned from the dead...changed. He isn't as peaceful as he used to be.
What can other characters easily ICly learn about your character?: He's stubborn and he talks like an Elf (i.e. he dances around the point at times or makes his explanations too ornate). He also has a tendency to sound a lot older/wiser than he looks (but what do you expect when he's in his late eighties?).
What information is limited to specific CR?: When/if he does reveal who killed him, then that will be limited. He knows Saber's true name now.
What information is my character willing to share/can be readily discovered if another works to uncover it?: His past is free for any/all to know, but he might be more cautious about revealing his future plans. He doesn't want to incur the wrath of the Monarchy on anyone else (but he isn't happy with them).

Waver is willing to help explain Cult of the Fox things to Aragorn, if Aragorn is ever in the area of Waver's coffee shop.

Mind, Waver's connections are high up in both courts and include Saber so this could be a double edge sword.

aragorn and iorveth need to meet, as he likes to hang out at elfmountain!! he'll be poking at the people he doesn't know who have the potential to inherit the mountain to see if they are cool enough for his loyalty etc etc. and he knows a thing or two because not being peaceful.

Perfect! They can definitely talk and get to know one another. Aragorn is the type to respect the decisions King Thranduil made previously, so don't worry about him turning against him or something.

Those two clearly will have to interact more often, all things considered. I'm just not sure in what ways :|9 Maglor and Muscovy will have a place in ElfMountain, from what I understand, but not be there very often... on the other hand Maglor will be a spaniel for a good while apparently so I guess Aragorn would kind of take over responsibility for Muscovy during that time?

this is sort of hilarious because natasha works directly for saber alter, but she more or less keeps that tie hidden. what would you say to some closer cr (and then a subsequent backtrack once he finds out who she's working for)? i like the idea of them being on friendly terms and natasha's own duplicity cutting that shit off and her not really realizing why, honestly. THOUGHTS? FEELINGS?

Aragorn, she's so sorry she experimented on your shard.................... she's sure you're probably a good guy and all, but she's going to feel guilty if she ever finds out. Especially since it's publicly known she's Saber's love interest.

I've wanted something between these two for a while, but I'm not sure on the specifics. I do have an idea that involves another player so I have to see what's going on with them first, but... yes, I think I mostly wanted to approach to see how you felt about it.

i think it could be interesting to have faolan and aragorn meet each other and see how their cr goes from there, considering they are both shardless and also just considering their personalities? faolan is basically property of the seelie court (and i mean property, they branded him and everything), plus he knows a lot about the whole reynard thing and he's lancelot's shadow/right hand man (he wouldn't betray his secrets but he does know a lot of things bc of that and it's possible aragorn could even know that's who he is ahead of time?). possibly this could happen in treun since they would both be competing in the tourney? or at samhain? TL;DR I DON'T KNOW WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS is this anything you might be interested in at all?? >>

I am all for this. They can meet in Treun and Aragorn can know a little bit about him beforehand - thus leading to wariness. But he won't jump to conclusions and it will actually sadden him to know Faolan is branded. :(
