Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

so, luke's so coming over to redgate! i'm not sure how this is coming about -- if hermione's roping him into it or if they meet along the way or whatnot -- but i'd love for these two to get cr together, either way! (and then that midnight court stuff because this was all your fault tbh!) but is it okay for his cows to have heard some things about sara that might make him want to come over to redgate? i know he'll jokingly want to steal the stone, but it might give me an ic incentive to come over if hermione doesn't invite him first.

katherine's a vampire and i'd love for her to get involved in the vampire refugee stuff going down! (and because i assume what makes redgate basically powerless in the literal sense will render her human? and i've been wanting her to eat everyone's food for ages.), she'd totally probably consider joining redgate's ranks if she was offered more than a meal? she's a 500 year old vampire; she's strong, she's smart, she can mind control anyone who isn't on vervain, and she's hopefully going to be bffs with aly!

and i'd love to strengthen his cr with zuko! i'm not sure if quendi is of interest to sara, but since zuko's building it up to be a bit less of a useless village people write off and hopefully into a powerhouse, maybe they can find some sort of alliance there? zuko's been training them in defending themselves/becoming soldiers, so maybe he can offer services to sara and get something in return?

idk what kind of rumors would motivate luke to make the trip, but his cows can certainly have heard some things (and however true or ridiculous those things are is completely up to you ahaha).

and i also don't know how the blood granite will affect vampire things, since afaik it only nullifies magic and not biological things (hopefully the info stuff the mods are working on will clarify all that a bit). but yeah, i'm completely canonblind on katherine so idk how her vampirism works. if she proves herself to be potentially useful tho, sara will definitely look into getting her interested in sticking around!

and i can definitely try to think up something for quendi! did you have plans for zuko to visit redgate at any point? if not, i can try to come up with a reason for sara to check out quendi sometime.

i think hermione is going to invite luke? that's the impression i was getting form a few things, but!!! rachel was thinking of visiting redgate in april. is that good for you? (but if you're up for it, i wouldn't mind if his cows -- who are really bad at regurgitating information at this point -- tell him a few incorrect things about sara!)

tbh the show hardly knows how her vampirism works. but she appears to be working her way up the unseelie military ranks. (on the field she was basically invulnerable and taking down seelie soldiers without breaking a sweat -- and chomping on them, too, so i don't know if maybe that would've gotten back to sara?) and, like, she can compel people to do what she wants? it depends on sara's goals, but she's basically a great hypnotist with great fashion!

he's just travelling around! so, since he was there to get a sigil to trade for reynard, he'd just pop in for another visit tbh. does that work at all? i think there'll be a few rumours going around during the timeskip that the village in quendi is basically expanding since what he's doing there is basically turning it into a fire nation that prefers to spill tea than shoot fire at people.
