While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Planned Travel: All the various festivals and events going on around the Drabwurld over the skip.
General overview of recent events: In the time since he arrived here, Saralegui has broken into the criminal court, mindfucked Reynard the Fox, arranged the theft of an ancient magic artifact, become lord of a fortress city, survived an encounter with a sea monster, and flirted a lot with a scary vampire guy. Most recently, he's just been over in Redgate setting things up for refugees and arranging defenses in case Tarz actually tries to enact any of his threats.
Recent open threads/posts: Nothing recent, he's been keeping quiet over in Redgate while the battle's going down. fighting is for losers haha

Who are your character's known associates/friends/enemies?: He has lots of "friends" and useful contacts, but his most notable allies are probably Saber, the Brucolac, Waver, Redgate's various champions, Tzilan, and Alyosha (for those who know she's still alive).
What notable events has my character been a part of?: The Midnight Court in Treun, The Doorway to Beyond in Troichean Beinn, Reynard in Redgate
What can other characters easily ICly learn about your character?: He's surprisingly young for his position but not inexperienced -- back home, he was a king. He's openly neutral and has offered Redgate as a sanctuary to members of both courts. He's generally very polite and friendly and sympathetic to everyone.
What information is limited to specific CR?: He's still in contact with his supposedly deceased predecessor, Alyosha. He's a member of the Midnight Court and very friendly with the Midnight Court's king. He's got a manipulative streak about twenty miles long and a boner for extremely powerful people. He has some scary fucking mind control powers.
What information is my character willing to share/can be readily discovered if another works to uncover it?: Of the above, anyone who gets into contact with Alyosha can likely learn the first. The second is probably easily learned by anyone who gets involved with the Midnight Court. Develop the CR right and probably anyone can learn the third one way or another. The last is very secret and likely won't be discovered outside of specific, individual situations with very close CR (atm only the Brucolac and Saber know for certain).

Saralegui will, over the course of the timeskip:

• create an information network for himself using his hypnotic powers, finding excuses to travel to various places around the Drabwurld and set up unknowing sources and contacts


• work on integrating vampire refugees into Redgate, setting up something loosely based on the Brucolac's goretax and subtly encouraging vampires to join Redgate's ranks in exchange for free meals


• combat anti-shardbearer sentiments in Redgate (and elsewhere, where possible) with grand shows of sympathy towards the natives and by providing aid to the natives by shardbearer hands


• develop closer relationships with existing CR and make further useful acquaintances with new CR

Hermione visiting Redgate for the first time in a very long time! She'll want to make sure there aren't any hard feelings and see if she can offer any help or alliances or. Something. She wants to be friendly, especially with a place where her magic won't work properly. She might even be considered 'useful' when she comes into power in the Citadel c:

ALSO. re: wanting unknowing informants. My native lady is an exciled elf that'll be travelling around doing stuff and things and would likely be interested in the idea of Redgate and it's magic breaking properties. I would definitely offer her if you wanted some kind of unknowing mind-network informant, seeing as she has no idea what the magic inside of her is doing, and she doesn't care about the elf vs. vampire thing unless the vampires at Redgate did. She is a native, though, and as much as she'd like to pretend she's smart and savvy enough she really wouldn't be too difficult for him to manipulate if you wanted that sort of thing!

SO! For building the theatre, would Dorian (or rather 'Felim Caiside' haha god it's so silly) need permission from city officials? A fairy named Maëlle is his proxy in all matters of this theatre, but depending on how things go with in June, Dorian might go to Sara directly. Either way, would you be interested in a thread of some kind of Dorian or Maëlle approaching Sara about the theatre, some time in late July or at any point in August?

so, luke's so coming over to redgate! i'm not sure how this is coming about -- if hermione's roping him into it or if they meet along the way or whatnot -- but i'd love for these two to get cr together, either way! (and then that midnight court stuff because this was all your fault tbh!) but is it okay for his cows to have heard some things about sara that might make him want to come over to redgate? i know he'll jokingly want to steal the stone, but it might give me an ic incentive to come over if hermione doesn't invite him first.

katherine's a vampire and i'd love for her to get involved in the vampire refugee stuff going down! (and because i assume what makes redgate basically powerless in the literal sense will render her human? and i've been wanting her to eat everyone's food for ages.), she'd totally probably consider joining redgate's ranks if she was offered more than a meal? she's a 500 year old vampire; she's strong, she's smart, she can mind control anyone who isn't on vervain, and she's hopefully going to be bffs with aly!

and i'd love to strengthen his cr with zuko! i'm not sure if quendi is of interest to sara, but since zuko's building it up to be a bit less of a useless village people write off and hopefully into a powerhouse, maybe they can find some sort of alliance there? zuko's been training them in defending themselves/becoming soldiers, so maybe he can offer services to sara and get something in return?

idk what kind of rumors would motivate luke to make the trip, but his cows can certainly have heard some things (and however true or ridiculous those things are is completely up to you ahaha).

and i also don't know how the blood granite will affect vampire things, since afaik it only nullifies magic and not biological things (hopefully the info stuff the mods are working on will clarify all that a bit). but yeah, i'm completely canonblind on katherine so idk how her vampirism works. if she proves herself to be potentially useful tho, sara will definitely look into getting her interested in sticking around!

and i can definitely try to think up something for quendi! did you have plans for zuko to visit redgate at any point? if not, i can try to come up with a reason for sara to check out quendi sometime.

I have slumbered and return with ideas.

They do share mutual interests in anti-shardbearer sentiments within their areas, so he might pick up on what Rin's doing or vice versa. I'm hoping to have her be able to coordinate with another player with relocating orphans so if there's anything Redgate is looking for in bitties and education-wise, might work with you for that. Especially if it comes to scholarships for the Mage University, provided he's going to be involved in that.

On that note, Rin has no real strong resistance to hypnosis. She's a magus and could realize it with drastic things, more subtle cases though? It'd be real easy to do stuff with that. Not that it'd earn him points with their shared CR, but if it's more subtle I think we can do swing some stuff. I know you were interested in an airship and stuff there, so maybe that's how we can start this path? :T

Redgate certainly has room if there are bitties that need to be relocated! Sara's not actually involved in the Mage University thing (as, despite the crazy hypno-eyes, he's not any sort of mage), so questions about that stuff should be shot at Tzilan instead, but Sara can try to help out with housing and whatnot if that's what's needed!

As far as the hypnosis thing goes, Sara doesn't actually use it all that much! He prefers trying to get his way the old-fashioned way first and saves the mind control for special situations -- really delicate issues he can't trust others to do right of their own free will, life or death situations, particularly irritating people, etc. It's literally only been used twice in game so far, once to deal with Reynard and once to arrange a theft with a perfect alibi. I don't think he'd use it on another shardbearer for something like a travel/trade agreement. Regular old diplomacy and negotiations are much more likely for that sorta thing :'>

So there's a few places these two could bump into one another (Leathann in August, Treun in September, Samhain), but I wouldn't mind having an excuse for Eren to revisit Redgate again, this time during... much less dire circumstances, perhaps sometime after Samhain. These two should talk more. :>
