Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Mr Sam, will you be spending any time in Caer Glaem? Diarmuid is going to be putting together a rather large training area and would love some advice on medical/clinical things/any other things Sam might like to give advice on. Plus...after losing his arm and not being able to keep more people alive at Caer Scima (even one death was not enough, lets face it), Diarmuid could really use someone to talk to...

Or, if that doesn't work we just need to work out something to get these two to meet...

OH MAN NO THAT WOULD BE PERFECT. I hadn't even thought of that, since I was only looking at the timeskip events; Sam would totally want to spend some time in Caer Glaem to make sure things are going well and people are getting back on their feet.

He'd be 100% down to help out with the training area and jfc bruh we need to sit down and chill for a second, Sam is here 4 u.

\o/ Diarmuid will start work in March, but he will be working on it off and all during the time skip. Is there a time that works better for you?

Not at all! My plans for him are as vague as I can possibly make them so that there's plenty of room for moving around. Depending on what next month's plot event is, he could probably swing by right at the start of things and make a habit of checking back in every once in awhile!

o7 I am going to put up a log/heading for working on the training ground here soon and it will be open during the whole timeskip, so you can drop Sam in whenever you want. We can have them talking about battle things either during those threads or in another. Sound good? I will let you know when things go up (or you can always add me on plurk if you want. :-) )
