Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

OKAY SO Jekyll is like super into Sam right now, he thinks he's great, really respects him a lot (what do you mean he latches desperately onto the idea of goodness in others and lives vicariously through them???). He's going to be starting up a clinic/apothecary as well in April, in moderately neutral territory (by the Station) so he can help both sides, but especially natives, and getting people to run medicine/potions/supplies into Seelie territory. So since Sam has medical experience and is Seelie, he would definitely approach him about 1) doing some of the supply smuggling, 2) to tell/show his methods for making medicines/potions in case Sam wants to replicate it for his own purposes, 3) ask if Sam wants to help out at his clinic in any way because it's warded (by the actual devil, but details) so he'd be safe working there, etc., 4) offer up the clinic and laboratory for anything Sam needs whether immediately or in the future, make use of it as he will.

I HAVE BEEN MEANING TO COME FIND YOUR COMMENT this is all actual perfection, Sam would really love to work with him!! Especially since Jekyll is so intent on helping both sides, that is so super cool and he'd be 100% down for smuggling things for a good cause.

I was going to bring up the possibility of actually mushing both of their ideas together for like a proper hospital type thing, but Sam's clinic is going more in an inpatient home-care direction on the other side of the map from the Station so it would actually be really cool for them to sort of make it a joint operation on the down low. They could trade methods and supplies, refer people in either direction, and ofc Sam's travels would make it really easy for him to fence Jekyll's wares around Seelie territory - or any variation of these things, if you please!

Mushing together for a proper hospital would be pretty neat, but UNDGERGROUND HEALTH RING is hilarious, I like that! Maybe someday they could more publicly combine efforts into a hospital sort of thing somewhere in the middle but who knows, I love the idea of a secretly joint operation on opposite sides of the map! And yes, absolutely to all those things, Jekyll's getting a flying mount so they could even set up...weird drabwurld ambulance service to get people from one to the other when referring them. Also if Sam needs start up money or anything else like that COME TO HIM FOR ANYTHING.

Someone arrest these criminal masterminds, absolutely disgusting, what's the world coming to, when such lowlifes run free!

Yess, one day combining operations would be brilliant! Maybe if/when Sam switches to Unseelie ( always a possibility ) or if court tensions change somehow at some point. But I super love the idea of being absurd about smuggling medicine, this is so beautiful. I'm literally crying over Drabwurld ambulances with flying creatures.

Sam definitely needs start up money and I've been sort of joking about seriously having a bake sale but it'd be doubly hilarious if he got his friends to help him with something like that and didn't actually need it, just did it for kicks. As you can see, I take my plotting very seriously.

This should be their defense if they ever get caught. AHA You caught us in our nefarious healing of your peoples!!
