Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

MONSIEUR BRUCOLAC WE MEET AT LAST

Since Arno's going to be working within Spire 9, I'd really love for him to actually possibly meet with the Brucolac sometime, just to get to know him! You aren't the only one who's got a neutral standing with a dash of Unseelie thrown in on this whole war here- Arno's very familiar with that kind of stuff and is striving to find an answer for it that will benefit everyone as a whole.

YES; Brucolac is very hands-on and visible around the Spire, and will intentionally seek out shardbearers working and making their homes there!! does Arno have an open thread for his quest there?

Brucolac will probably want to meet him as soon as he knows he's been charged (by Waver, right?) with helping with the Spire! if Arno doesn't seek him out, he'll invite him for a discussion on General Things, brief him on the spire, try to get a feel for his personality. or else just show up and commandeer him for a chat.

Yes, the quest is from Waver! Arno would try to find the Brucolac asap if only so he can get direction in what he's looking for, and what seems most important at this point. GOOD THING THEY BOTH WANT TO GET TO KNOW WHO IS WHAT AND EVERYTHING man this'll be fun.
